markjazzbassist
Baines. Not only did he get the penalty equalizer, but he really bossed that left side like he used to. The Baines of old is back and it's a great thing!
Quinn31
Baines was good, Barkley was good, Mirallas had a few moments.
Matt
I'm really torn. So many decent performances, none standout though. Thought Stones and Alcaraz had a solid game for the most part but I can't give either MOTM. Really no idea, will watch the highlights and maybe vote after that... London Blue
Alcaraz, for me but could have been any of the team today. Thought he played very well, helped and encouraged Stones, and looked very settled for only his second start for us. Special mention for Mirallas for the chances he created and his free kick. Brett Angel
Alcaraz all day long.... He must have been bricking himself when they said stones will be along side him. Was a warrior back there. Lukaku was a close eleventh!!!!!!!
msloan78
Thought Alcaraz was very good, and Stones was pretty impressive when he needed to be. In midfield I thought we were pretty wasteful for the most part and Lukaku was never going to get a sniff the way they were defending. Alcaraz for me today. Romey 1878
Alcaraz. It had to come from defence because the midfield was completely ineffective and Lukaku had less than scraps to work with.
Dalziel Kane
maybe Mirallas deserved it more today but decided to vote for leighton baines. If not for that player we would have gone home with no change and saved it for the team right at the very end. Could prove a valuable point by end of season so maybe he wasn,t our best player on the day, but that was a mighty important strike today to grab a share of points. Shukes
I have given Stones a vote for coming in and playing with a maturity beyond his years. Consider that he did not have our club captain to guide him either and played alongside a player who is just breaking into the team himself. This is also a compliment to Alcaraz who helped him through it.
Aidan
People wouldn't have given Baines a mention if he didn't rescue us. Mirallas for me, due to his attitude. He never gave up, whice is a good thing because sometimes under Moyes he looked to give up all the time, unless it was a fitness issue. Bailey
Stones for me given the circumstances. Tbh I didnt think Baines did a great deal and I thought that bar the odd moment, Barkley had one of his poorer games.
