JoeQuince
Timmy. No doubt about it. Steve_E
thoward18
Went McCarthy because he just shut down Arsenal's attack for much of the game. However, the defense as a whole was very good and TImmy was brilliant. Kudos to Barkley and Deulofeu as well.
Peter H
Tim Howard for a couple of sweaty saves in the first that kept us in the game. For example when Giroud had his 1 on
pete0
Barkley creating space and ghosting past players was world class.
markjazzbassist
simple for me, we had so many chances but never converted until gerry came on. he's my MOTM.
Blue 250
Between Tim and Ross, a dozen more prem games and Ross will be unstopable. Tim mom !
Mogsy
Going for Ross, Tim came close and was mom but he got completely lost on that cross towards the end and for me for Ross to be the best midfielder on the pitch in that company says something. He's special!
Toffee_in_LA
So hard to choose between Timmy and Barkley for me. Went Timmy simply because I'm a Yank . But he had some class saves, especially in the last 5 minutes of the first half where fatigue was showing on the team that kept us tied up heading to the dressing room. gethinO
Thought Coleman was brilliant myself as was Ross and Barry
c1982
I would like to vote for our midfield unit as pre-match you look at Arsenal's 5 and there really aren't many better than that in world football... the fact that our 5 dominated theirs at times shows how far we've come under Martinez. I thought Barkley epitomised the new Everton with his no fear/enjoyment of the game so he pipped it! Romey 1878
Barry. I thought he was a midfield 4 all by himself. Although, there are so many candidates once again.
marcus jones
Howard for me, covered up some mistakes in front of him. Ross played a blinder and will become a great player with decision making and as for Coleman, wow, really come on this season, best right back in the league? I'd say so on this performance. Blueherts
McCarthy. Tireless worker until the very end and silenced ramsey for most of the game.
msloan78
I'm really enjoying these threads at the minute, as there's actual decisions to be made where in the past it was fairly straight forward between 1 or 2. Today could have been any from 7-8 players. Think I'm going to go for Pienaar. markjazzbassist
badaids
I love that fact there is a real mixed bag for the MOTMs - tells me that the whole team is performing. Got to be Timmy today - you just knew that he was going to make all those saves. Great to see Distin passing in about and Pienaar and Oviedo clicking. Surprised to see so many votes for Barkley, he was threatening but he gave the ball away a lot and looked exhausted by the end and it seemed to me he was taking the sting out of our attacks and bogging us down. I feel weird about us playing so well, not just winning games, the fact that we are wrecking everyone's shit wherever we go and looking the business. But I likes it! rubecula
So many to choose from in this game well done to the team in general. Had to pick one though, so I went for Barkley. I could have picked almost anyone in a blue shirt though, so I don't mind if my choice is not everyones.

Shukes
Gone for Pienaar as he is my fave of the moment ( you may have noticed ). His first touch was excellent and he seemed to have so much of the ball it looked like everything went through him. Such a creative player and it showed against a team full of technically gifted players, and he still stood out. Looks to be slowing down a bit and maybe tiring afetr 70 mins, but for that 70 mins he is controlling the opposition half of the pitch. StevO
Went with Coleman, but could have picked anyone. Loving that it's so tough to choose right now. Again, if I could, I'd pick Roberto. He is the difference in every game right now. Four points from Old Trafford and Emirates, not many will manage that.
Hafnia
McCarthy, the reality is it could have been one of five. I will vote McCarthy just to get anyone who's eyes have not yet been opened to this lad, he plays with the head of a 30 year old. Unbelievable... worth twice what we paid for him. jofanon
Ross He was the best midfielder by a mile. And there was a £40m player on the pitch!
Sibdane
I was torn between Barkley and Timmy -- but of course I went with the American.
Bailey
I went for Jags again. I thought it was a real captains performance from him and he had an answer for almost everything Arsenal threw at us. Its a big plus to see him really lead the team and rally the troops. I havent seen that sort of on the field captaincy for a while at Everton.
duncanmckenzieismagic
I think Barkley just shaded it ahead of Jags and Howard
