chicagoblue
So who plays LB on Wed? For me Cuco can't play. If it's a 4 then Kenny LB and Lennon RB. If it's a 5, Kenny RWB and Besic LWB.
StevO
Just put Garbutt in there. Hes no worse at left back than Martina. I hate seeing a player on the wrong side to cover when we have specialists in that position.

That being said, I hate Allardyce, I hate him being at my football club, I hate his footballing philosophies, his tactics and team selections. He and his other horsemen of the footballing apocalypse Walsh, Lee and Shakespeare are like a disease infecting our club. Saying that Coco is calm, makes few mistakes, and is almost as good as Seamus FFS! Then that Niasse is winning the race to be our 1 striker, really, was Sam not watching the Leicester game? The sooner they are gone and we can have a good old purge to remove the stain of his existence from our club the better. Bailey
I said when it happened that calf injuries are a bitch. They just linger and linger and when you think you are OK, you catch one on the toe and it goes again.
Romey 1878
It's absolutely criminal that we haven't brought in a left-back in the past three years, never mind just recently. It's not like we've only just realised Baines is getting on ffs! We should have been forward-planning and proactive. Now look! I called the manager a cancer to clubs before he signed on not as an insult, but because he seems to erode the clubs he’s managed from inside out even after he’s left; the long term dangers of him vastly outweighed the potential (and so far, failed) short term benefits. I know many disagree, but Unsworth would’ve been a much better solution until the end of the season. Alas, we’re where we are and i just hope I’m very wrong. Sev
Though I'm sure Baines would like to be musical star I'd rather see him and his experience back on the pitch. With our defence being a tad too "funny" to look at, at times, I think we need him on that lb position. Get well soon, Bainsey. Sir McGiven
No matter what, when he is fully recovered he should be the one who starts. However, he is older now even though he was an exceptional left-back, Everton needs a better LB during the summer. So Baines can replace the new one when needed. Unbelievable pro.... one of the fittest players I have seen when he was at his peak. I'm just gonna enjoy the last year or two of a great servants career. Hope he doesn't do a Gary Neville and his legs just drop off.

Shukes
He still does a job for us. I think we’ll see him for another season. What he lacks in pace he has retained with knowledge and experience. Said many times but watch him, see how he keeps the possession of the ball without panicking. Very rarely loses the mall cheaply. Very intelligent as well. Manages to line his bady to play one way and then a simple inside pass takes two players out of action. Worth having him around so the rest of the team can watch how to make easy passes look easy.

Hafnia
I recall us keeping Peter Reid for too long... fans who loved him were struggling to curtail their groans when father time caught up with him... no way for a legend to go out.
