spanna
This is what worries me. We dominated Norwich they score two, we destroy Newcastle they score 2...

Dalziel Kane
Don't throw this away now goddamn it. Four minutes of extra time, and now only one goal in it. If they sneak a draw now, I don't know what I'll do. Damn fucking careless to let them back in this.

Sibdane
I've noted that before too, that he looks up while dribbling. It can also be down to a case of tunnel vision rather than poor decision-making when he starts to turn and turn and loses the ball or opts to shoot from distance in compacter spaces. Could be, but I've seen him do enough to prove to me that he has plenty of vision. Vision and decision-making do go hand-in-hand, and having one without the other is almost useless. He's also still only 19 and has plenty to learn.

rubecula
that will do 3 points and up the table. pity about conceding 2 though.

Of course, that's what I was saying, that he needs to work on it. I wasn't trying to slate him or anything. I was just tempering expectations a bit as he has been compared to one of the two or three best players of the last 20 years a lot for all the clear-cut chances he's created so far. msloan78
Deulofeu is going to make someone look stupid with his close control. Freak. I think we just switched off second half because we were so far in front. Few of the lads looked goosed aswell as the half went on. Lukaku for example. 5 points clear of United too. lol. Dalziel Kane
It's up their end, and there goes the damn whistle, and I can fucking breath again. We win 3 - 2 after nearly giving it all away. Great for the neutrals, but mayhem if you've been following this as one of either supporter. Up to fourth place - still unbeaten going into October - got to be pleased enough. Well done to all involved - but why do they have to make it so difficult sometimes ? Peter H
Good win. Everton played good football through out the match. Newcastly was better in the second half but Everton still had the best chances. Now fourth and deserve to be there.
GoodisonRoad
Never make it easy for ourselves. Lukaku was very poor second half. Should have been 4/5-0 that. Nevertheless a good win and into fourth.

Toffee_in_LA
Happy for the win even though I was shatting myself those last 10 or so minutes. Need to not give up shat goals like that 2nd one and the 1st was just a wonderstrike, not much could've been done about that. Now on to tour next match (Hull I believe)? Avinalaff
When can we have a 90 minute performance please ?
barryj
Well different manager but one thing remains the same. We can make an easy win look very difficult and instead of enjoying a relaxing second half my finger nails are down to the bone.
maroon1
This is how it will be now......not the 0-0's or 1-0's......we won 3-2 looking round, and that's gotta be better

Brett Angel
Good result boys. Won in the first half, like the shite all season....only difference is we're still unbeaten OUCH! :-)
Quinn31
Great first half, poor start to the 2nd half, but we grew back into the game and played pretty well until that shit/sloppy goal we conceded from Remy...

Newty82
Fuck me!!! What a game. First half hour I couldnt believe what I was watchin...we were immense! Passing with real positive purpose...quick and direct. We go 3 up...then it just slows right down...we relaxed too much...got lazy, maybe tired...couldnt believe how much we started giving the ball away. A good win...but we have a few things to learn there. And...we are still getting used to a new system, new players etc....great stuff!!! spanna
Good to win one we deserved to win. Although our stamina levels look extremely poor. I get the impression Martinez's training isn't on the same levels as Moyes for fitness. But then again we now have people who can pass the ball who in the past couldn't. So its 6 of one half a dozen of the other really. Sibdane
Dalziel Kane
If Moyes had still been manager, he would have sown the defense up tighter than Susie Dent's vagina and the Tyneside outfit wouldn't of got anywhere near our goal in the second half. If we had been leading by 1 - 0 at half time, I would have expected Moyes to completely shut it down, but on the basis of the first half alone, there is reason for optimism in the coming weeks. Going to be fun with Martinez though, as he's a lot less restrictive than the manager before. Second period once again was disappointing, but on the basis of the first half alone, we deserve the points this night. maroon1
Hafnia
There goes one of those 3-2 wins I predicted plenty of... Instead of a 1-1 of course. Phew. That's what football is all about maroon1

Blue 250
Pleased with the result. How may times did Lukaku give the ball away though! 1st half none, 2nd half 28. 1st half goals 4 to ruled off-side 2nd half none. I know, lets take him off at half time! Sideliner
best first half I have seen in a long while - subs came too late - Osman and Lukaku were finished at 60 min - Jagielka gets beaten too often lately - we were by far the better team - score flatters Newcastle - best start for Everton in decades - long may it continue
