Steve_E
Wouldnt say so, no. Dont think vision is something that changes for a player, cannot be taught. Knowing when and which pass to play will come with a bit more experience Then how do you know he has vision? I say someone has good vision when someone sees a pass and decides to give it. Also putting someone through on goal in situations like this one where he has a shot from outside the box would demonstrate vision, but he usually opts for the shot. Seen him play enough nice passes to make me think he has the vision, just backs himself a bit more than he should sometimes. Not necessarily a bad thing though.... That would be poor decision-making. For all we know he saw the pass but opted for the glory himself. His 50-yard pass(through-ball) to Mirallas against Chelsea demonstrates great vision. I'd rather he demonstrated some vision in tighter spaces in front of the box though before I'm agreeing to comparisions with Zidane.

Dalziel Kane
Game has real slowed down this second half. Still looks as though we're going to get the win, but couldn't maintain the tempo of the first half. Players maybe decided it was game over by half-time. Coleman looks real good tonight. It's definitely too soon to compare Barkley to him, I can agree with you on that. I think his decision-making is what can be improved on though. Often times you can see Barkley look up but still opt to shoot or take a man on.

I think his decision-making is what can be improved on though. Often times you can see Barkley look up but still opt to shoot or take a man on. I've noted that before too, that he looks up while dribbling. It can also be down to a case of tunnel vision rather than poor decision-making when he starts to turn and turn and loses the ball or opts to shoot from distance in compacter spaces.
