thoward18
If I didn't know any better I'd think this is an Everton home game. So much support. Where are the Fulham fans?
Toffee_in_LA
Deulofeu is amazing, wish he would've passed that though.
msloan78
Gerry is looking quality tonight. Looking to take defenders on at every point, and making some of them look like dicks. VERY EXCITED!!!
Bailey
No but his overall play does, and his movement has been excellent... Come on it don't take a football genius to recognise and reward his solid start to the season. Give the guy a break he has earnt it Im not disputing that as he has stepped up considerably. Just lets not act like he is anything more than he is. His movement and reading of the game is excellent. Unfortunately his first touch, technique and passing arent that great. Steve_E
Robles came for that ball and didn't come near it.
Fearthainn
Don't want to get carried away but am I allowed to at least dream about Deulofeu, Barkley, Mirallas and Lukaku slaughtering the shite in the derby? Bailey
We are a little bit dodgy at the back. Robles decisions havent been great, Stones and Oviedo are getting caught out a little (albeit the former has done plenty of good things too) and Heitinga isnt really bringing too much to the table. spanna
Ah this is more like Everton. Battering opposition but giving them clear cut chances out of nothing.

His movement and reading of the game is excellent. Unfortunately his first touch, technique and passing arent that great. Fair comment! Unless he hits a hat trick tonight then he's the New Messi! Let them in a few times in the last ten mins. Bailey
Bailey
Fulham pressing higher up the pitch is making life difficult too.

Bailey
Gibson looking a little rusty (unsurprisingly). We got into a good position there from good build up play and he misplaced a simple pass.
Bailey
Duelofeu needs to track back there and help out.

Brett Angel
With every positive said about naismiths goal anyone else in his position would have won this game by now with the ammount of chances he's had.
Toffee_in_LA
A little more power Lukaku (hard to do as he was fading away from the goal). Great counter though. And Distin has been at the right place right time thus far, excellent.

Matt
fkin hate Karagounis. such a cheat.... Oviedo playing ok. Naismith is reminding more and more of Straq.
Matt
Our support really is amazing, makes me proud to be an Evertonian! wasnt a judgement against him, the opposite in fact! Glad hes been given the honour

Total rubbish and you know it, or haven't you been watching Kone or Jelly this season? Or anyone else taking shots so far? Three shots, two on target, one goal, any striker would be proud of that let alone a left mid. You know what I'm not gonna keep trying to prove people wrong with, he's doing a better job himself. Some like him some hate him. Steve_E, pete0 and MikeO

badaids
i'd like to see jela on for naismith. it would do jela the world of good to get some of these chances and i'd bet he'd bang at least one in.
Bailey
Not sure what it is but our midfield isnt exactly clicking. Might be a case of too many similar players.

Where would he play though? And I wouldn't put him in until we were at least 2 goals up tbh, need a safety net.

Or maybe we shouldn't read too much into it. We're playing a good PL side away from home so it's to be expected that they have some good spells too. Zoo
Just because he scores a goal doesn't suddenly make up for his deficiencies on the ball. He's not world class but he's not the worst in our team. Always puts in a shift.
Shukes
Would love to see Barkley in this kind of line up. He would run the show.
Brett Angel
Shukes, he can't even pass it without looking nervy.... I find it so frustrating that certain people seem smug if he actually scores.... That's his fucking job and what he gets paid shit loads to do... Out of his depth every time I've seen him.
