pete0
See the ball from Ross??? World class pass. If you seem gerrard hit that it would be replayed all game. He does so many that they don't need to replay them.

Guest blueboy122
He does so many that they don't need to replay them. Gerrard has the passion but he doesn't have half the talent Ross has
pete0
Love how Ross went forward with the ball then, no way any Everton player would have been brave enough to do that last year.

Mike Preece
Sterling defence from our lads, what a difference when Mirallas gets involved, nice to Naismith given an ovation. Come on boys, please and pretty please hold on.

Hafnia
Ha ha!!! Get in, how do sky like that?! Tyldsley and Alan smith are tits. Great performance, I knew it would be the game where we would see bobbys ways come through. Chelsea are so strong though.
pete0
Get in! Great game, who needs possession? Mirallas back, Osman improved. Naismith looks like he could be our Dirk Kuyt, rubbish, but gives his all and gets important goals. Gareth Barry wears an Everton shirt to bed, wouldn't know he's only been at the club two weeks. Hafnia
Awaiting Romeys match report.... In particular the Barry review.... I'm sure he will be pleased to be proven wrong! Great performance considering he's been out of action. Barkley though.... Wow. He's a creative catalyst. Still giving Barry motm for his block alone! Toffee_in_LA
Would've been happy with another draw, and instead get a wonderful win to start off my Saturday afternoon! Barry was the MOTM, numerous times he was at the right place at the right time and bossed the midfield. Naismith played with heart and showed that he was willing to scratch and claw for this win. Mirallas played MUCH BETTER as a lone striker. He did play as a striker and not as a winger for his old club correct? Over the roof right now, hopefully this is the first of many wins to come this season. COME ON YOU BLUES! Sideliner
markjazzbassist
so glad we got the win, well deserved. great defending and counterattacking. for missing some key players i thought we did excellent. man of the match - gareth barry
Cornish Steve
I have to swallow my own words about Gareth Barry. Today, in his first game for the club, he was the MOTM.

Mirallas played MUCH BETTER as a lone striker. He did play as a striker and not as a winger for his old club correct? Over the roof right now, hopefully this is the first of many wins to come this season. COME ON YOU BLUES! No, he didn't play as a centre forward for his old club. He played on the wing there too primarily, only if the other two centre forwards (Pantelic and Djebbour) were unavailable did he play up top. He only played on the wing for Saint-Etienne and he played on the wing or behind the main striker when he first came onto the scene at Lille. He won't be as effective up top against sides like WBA or Cardiff either if there's just 18 yards in behind the opposition's centre backs.
