chicagoblue
Few questions to answer from RM for me. This game has been so obvious and we've played the same game that hasn't worked until the 80th minute. What are Osman and Jelly doing in the team? Aidan
I said it would be a draw. too good of a defence for their attack but no link between attack and midfield. as much as I don't want to say it I wish we would play a direct ball up to fellaini. pete0
Great cross from Gerry, our players need to be attacking them.

badaids
you know, we might actually do better against a 'better' team that are not dead set against parking the bus...
Hafnia
Shite, not near good enough. Ref by all accounts cost us, Cardiff? Parking the bus at home?! Deary me. Sibdane
marcopaulo
they're a promoted team..did anyone expect them to do anything else? worked for them..don't blame them Romey 1878
Aidan
3 Points in 3 VERY winnable games. Not good enough. RM has until Jan before things start to turn very sour.
Cornish Steve
At least we remain unbeaten.
Sibdane
FFS. Okay, we're unbeaten... But we're desperately missing a CM with Osman on the pitch. Barkley best man on the pitch. Edited August 31, 2013 by TonkaRoost
Popular Post marcopaulo
he needs longer than a few months...there are some good signs..we are toothless up top though Toffee_in_LA, Romey 1878, Matt and 3 others
pete0
We've been the better side in all 3 games, created enough chances in each game to win whilst giving very little away. If we had the same ref decisions as the commercial attracting clubs we'd have 9 points. Bailey
Bailey
Shame yet again that the players couldn't win that for Martinez. Enough chances, completely dominant and we just fuck up chance after chance and opportunity after opportunity. We were a much better team when Kone came on the pitch and anyone that can't see that really needs to open their eyes. Same can be said of Gerry as well because he is a brilliant impact player and my one criticism of Martinez is that he should have been on 10 mins earlier. When the players get used to when and where his delivery is coming from we will be creating chance after chance. chicagoblue
badaids
no blame on cardiff - they achieved what they set out to do/ what worries me, is that RM couldn't see that and try out manoeuvre them, with a different tactic Romey 1878
marcopaulo
who's to say we would have scored the pen pete? we should be making more chances when being the better side...possession means fuck all if it's going nowhere

Toffee_in_LA
Not happy in the slightest bit. Actually disgusted that we haven't won at least one of these past 3 games. Not looking forward to playing Chelsea, they looked darn good against Bayern yesterday.
Wall Writer
Frustrating match. Too many touches and trying to be too pretty sometimes in the final third where we should be gambling a bit more. It maybe just the beginning, but we need some goals. As marcopolo said were toothless up top

Should have at least got one goal today.

He did what you have to do against these teams, be patient, use width and hope that we take our chances. If anyone thinks that launching it long constantly with Caulker and Turner at the back would have won us the game is clutching at straws. When we played it long we got bullied off it. If our players (and the ref) had made better decisions we would have won the game, as we also would have against Norwich and also as we would have against WBA. Popular Post MikeO
On the up side, we made the team that beat City last week look worse than Stevenage. Still optimistic here....though pissed off that we haven't got more points. Two away draws I can live with, we should've taken three against West Brom and if we had everyone would be a bit happier. pete0, Matt, Sibdane and 2 others

msloan78
Ref was shite and we weren't good enough in the box. Loads of possession and some decent stuff outside, but we lack the confidence/killer instinct at the minute. Very frustrating that we weren't given the penalty.... And more frustrating that we're not killing these teams off with the weight of possession we've got.

I'm sure that once our strikers bag a couple and get their peckers up, we'll start lookind more deadly. In the mean time he has to have a word with mirallas, boot assie up the arse and get barkley to get his head up bit. i'm sure RM will get better too as the season goes on.
