Cornish Steve
Sad to learn of the passing of Cliff Morgan - a great commentator and, by all accounts, a wonderful person. An icon of Wales is no longer with us.
rubecula
Sad news, he kept me interested in rugby for years, also he was great on the tv as commentator, pundit etc. He will be sadly missed.

MikeO
Oh and John pullin was born in Aust Gloucestershire about as close to Wales as you get :-) David Duckham was the left winger.....if it wasn't for his superb efforts in distracting the attention of the all black defenders those leek eating provincials wouldn't have got close to the line . Seriously though always liked Cliff Morgan, original Question of Sport captain and all round nice guy. Just a shame he was Welsh . marcus jones
Cliff Morgan was a better player than Barry John, or so most old buggers tell me round these parts........... hard to believe I know, must be something in their piped tobacco.............. Cornish Steve
Just a shame he was Welsh . Hey up. Watch out! We Celts can outplay the English any day. In that era, England had to bring Celts into their own team to stand a chance: Stack Stevens played for the Cornish team Penzance & Newlyn. When it comes to passion, creativity, and raw talent, no one in the world can match the Celtic nations. Here's Cliff as I remember him from years ago.
