JoeQuince
His loan has been extended until the end of the season. Good! Hopefully he continues to do well. I'm not sure he will ever make his way into our starting 11 (cup games aside), but if he can succeed while making himself attractive to other teams and making us a pretty penny in the process, that would be nice. Romey 1878
Playing for a team challenging at the top of the league will be good for him. He's never really got back to his previous level since that injury after Martinez said he liked him a lot, so regular football at a competitive level should do him the world of good. He's never really got back to his previous level since that injury after Martinez said he liked him a lot, so regular football at a competitive level should do him the world of good. If he gets playing time there, it will be an incredible opportunity. That team could challenge for a playoff spot and the Championship is quite competitive. Add to that, I think Mick McCarthy is a good manager for a young player to play under. Romey 1878

Quinn31
Gone to Crewe Alexandra on loan. His stock has really dropped. StevO
I understand the rule, but when it’s standing in the way of a young lad trying by to make his way in the game it’s a bit harsh.
c1982
It’s made more stupid when the fact that he played in the ‘Checkatrade or whatever it’s called Trophy’ in an Everton u23 team - so he’s allowed to play in the u23s but just not in that tournament?! Article says it’s because of the opponent. Had the opponent been another youth side, it would have been OK. Does seem arbitrary and idiotic.
