Peter H
Messi had a falling out with their vCEO about wages. Messi had not even asked for a new contract at the time. Also something about Neymar becoming the biggest star in the club which i think is bullcrap. Messi is twice the player.
StevO
I'd be surprised if Messi was worried about another player being the bigger star. He doesn't seem that far up his own arse.

Alfarosi
Don't worry Messi isn't going anywhere. The Deulofeu's future depends on Tello/Pedro/Alexis. If one of them leave, then Deulofeu will be in Barcelona next year, If not he will be in Everton.

Alfarosi
Ok we can take Tello off your books. 1 mil? I think Tello will cost between 8 - 15 millions euros. The last rumour "Liverpool interested in Cristian Tello" http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/transfer-news-liverpool-eye-loan-move-for-barcelona-winger-cristian-tello--reports-9030595.html
Mirallas
small chance we'll keep him after this season, he's now out for a while... Maybe it's a good opportunity to make a move for Sunderland's Adam Johnson? He is a way underrated player. (underperforming a bit since he's at SUFC, but his potential is huge. RM could get him at his full potential)

I'd only take a punt on him if it was sub-4 or 5 million, but I doubt we could get him at that price. markjazzbassist

I'd only take a punt on him if it was sub-4 or 5 million, but I doubt we could get him at that price. In his last season at Manchester City he was massive. I watched their every game back then and he didn't alwasy play because of Silva, Nasri, Milner and the overload of strikers, but when he did he struck me as being the best English player of the team, second only to Joe Hart. His actions showed quality and efficiency. It never occurred to me how a team like Sunderland managed to sign him. TBH I though City looked likely to let SIlva go to Real Madrid back then and I was convinced they already had a replacement in their ranks in Adam Johnson. Matt
I thought Johnson would be a great signing, but he's proven to be the opposite. Romey 1878

markjazzbassist
yeah he's going to go to the shite where they really would give him a chance? yeah right. moses never plays, iago their big signing this summer is stuck with the reserves. i can't stand the prick (rodgers), just signing people to sign them regardless of if they'll play or fit into his team. Romey 1878
I have no idea why they signed Moses, he's really not that good a player.

There are no chances to Liverpool. Edited January 20, 2014 by Alfarosi

Blue 250
Maybe just one more season under Martinez at Everton would do the lad good. I don't think Barcelona would want to sell him, and he's probably not really ready for them yet. The soloution is obvious, Barca trusted Martinez this season, why not next! Matt
http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2014/01/23/seamus-to-miss-stevenage The Blues boss offered another update on the recovery of teenage winger Deulofeu, with a refreshed timescale giving Martinez much cause for optimism. He added: "Gerard is not too far away. I will be very surprised if he is not available at the end of next week. "That will be really positive because we knew it would be a tricky injury for the player he is. He's a real sprinter and that injury needs to be well looked after. "I will be delighted if we can get him back then." Lowensda and Toffee_in_LA

It offered no fact whatsoever, a poor article. I know most journalism is the same based on hearsay / rumour but this seemed more so than most. I take it with a pinch of salt. Maybe it's just I'm hopeful it's incorrect.
troy8
No quotes in that article - I'll believe he's not staying for another season when someone from Barca comes out and says it.

efc1111
I think he could do with another season here to be honest. Agreed. Although his teamwork was improving before his injury, I'd say he's far from ready to go into the Barcelona team. Hopefully they'll see the benefit to him of another season with us, starting more games and hopefully getting European experience too.
