Lowensda
Would also be amazing if we could build strong ties with Barca moving forward. This. As a Catalonian himself, I'm hoping Martinez could forge a good relationship with them.
Shukes
If RM pulls this off then appointing him was the best desicion the clu has made in a decade. That would gain him some major respect. I know this would only be a loan and we would have to hand him back at the end of the season, but by then he might have helped get us into europe! Praying this comes off. RuffRob
sounds promising 'The Martinez affect' of attracting young spanish prospects in his first few weeks at Goodison could bode well for the future - if he does come and does well then Barca may see Everton as a good destination for they up and coming talents, loans etc. Fingers crossed. As a raw young unknown (to Premeriship defenders) could be a very good impact player in tight games.

Praying this comes off. If we could show that we have developed him on a bit, then it may lead to future loans from Barca Edit: Graham Hunter @BumperGraham 2m Believe Everton will announce @gerardeulofeu loan deal very soon. Talented lad, wants lots of games. In middle of learning process Pretty reliable source that. Edited July 10, 2013 by Simon
Hafnia
What greater compliment could Bobby Martin get, if he is selected as the right manager to bring along Barcelonas next big hope - clearly they like the way he gets his players to play. A real coup for the club, getting spanish exposure. SimonButtle
BlueBlood81
If they think that we've brought him along well after a season, and he still wouldn't quite get in their first team, its not beyond the realms of possibility for them to let us Keep him for a second season perhaps? SimonButtle
Graham Hunter @BumperGraham 14s Told that @gerardeulofeu currently at Finch Farm. #Everton showing a good Catalan talent where he's going to advance his career. Steve Harper Getty
http://www.barcelonafcblog.com/2013/07/10/gerard-deulofeu-close-to-loan-deal-with-everton/? This young guy is magic. He's only 21 and one of Barca's youth academy stars. I'm surprised they let him go but with Martinez at the helm of Everton, he's a safe bet and what the Catalans want is for him to play and get some good experience. Can't wait to see him in action. He must be good as Valencia, Sevilla, Real Sociedad and even Dortmund were chasing him - http://bit.ly/1aprc2X

Steve_E
Seems like he's a right winger the way Mirallas is, played on the left for his entire life, played on the right last season: I'd still like a left footed winger as well.
