Matt
with that kind of stats to back him up, if we were to sell it must be for 25-30m...
StevO
We just cant sell him. If he left we would need to buy a midfielder, a winger and a left back to replace what he does for the team. And play with 14 players instead of 11.

And play with 14 players instead of 11. Oh I dont want to sell him. Im just saying, the usual 15m figure touted about is nonsense (as we all knew). For 30m though, you could get 3-4 good players in his place. Would be interesting to know how Oviedo would do at LB... StevO

Toffee_in_LA
Not surprising at all. Why he doesn't start ahead of Ashley Cole is beyond me.
Romey 1878
Not surprising at all. Why he doesn't start ahead of Ashley Cole is beyond me. He plays for a Top 4 side so he simply must be the better player.
Iamryanstover
He plays for a Top 4 side so he simply must be the better player. What"s sad is that the majority of people actually believe this crap. Bottom line is Baines is one of if not the best LB in the world. Ask Bayern they wanted him to be theirs. pete0
Performance wise think Cole was the better lb this season, although hindered by injuries. Last couple of tournament's it should have been Baines though.
