Matt
just remember reading that in the 92-93 season Norwich were ahead of the pack after 10 games. No idea who played for them but maybe someone from that team?

Dalziel Kane
just remember reading that in the 92-93 season Norwich were ahead of the pack after 10 games. No idea who played for them but maybe someone from that team? It was longer than that from what I can try to remember. Stayed ahead up until christmas and featured regularly in second place into the new year. Can recall a lot of names from that time, so someone like Goss or Sutton or even Ruel Fox may be worth a try. Zoo
Mike has it . Mark Robins scored 20 goals in the 92-93 season when Norwich looked for all that you're worth that they were going to take the title. Zoo's Question of the Day Round 119: Which six goalkeepers have won the Premier League Player of the Month Award? 1 - David Seaman; April 1995 (correctly answered by Mogsy). 2 - Tim Flowers; January 1997 & September 2000 (correctly answered by Matt). 3 - Alex Maninger; March 1998 (correctly answered by pete0). 4 - Paul Robinson; November 2000 (correctly answered by Mogsy). 5 - Petr Cech; March 2007 (correctly answered by Matt). 6 - Mark Schwarzer; February 2010 (correctly answered by Mogsy). There is still one more out there, I'll give you all a clue seeing as it's late, he won it in 1998.

Zoo
^ Ding Ding Ding. David Seaman was injured for eight games between February and March in the 1997 season so Manninger took to the sticks to replace him. In the eight games that he played he kept eight clean sheets equaling the clean sheet record for that season. He was however replaced as soon as Seaman was fit to play and didn't feature again for the remainder of the campaign. c1982
Sheffield Wednesday? I think they had at least one top ten finish in the David Hurst/Guy Whittingham days and maybe even Carbone/Di Canio era. I don't ever remember Sheff Utd getting top 10 though and maybe even Southampton (stand by my pre-season prediction and think they'll easily get it this year!)
