Dalziel Kane
Rush was born in Flint, Wales. And damn our club for thinking he wasn't good enough and letting Liverpool have him. Idiots. Grobelaar was a decent call, did think about Lawrenson, but he wasn't even Irish. Jan Molby maybe. But don't know for sure
MikeO
Couldn't think beyond Grobbelaar (born in Durban, South Africa) so I checked. According to lfchistory.net he's ninth on the all time list behind Callaghan (born in Toxteth), Carragher (Bootle), Clemence (Skegness), Hughes (Barrow-in-Furness), Rush (St Asaph), Neal (Irchester), Smith (Liverpool) & Gerrard (Whiston). :dont know: Trick question? Zoo
Hyypia is the right answer. He's racked up 464 appearances and is therefore the foreigner with the most games.

MikeO
yeah mike! obvious that was :major overreaction alert: (read the question you fool) Although, in my defence, Grobbelaar did play in England's "premier league" more than anyone else, just not the Premier League....proper use of quotation marks is always important . Dalziel Kane
Here's another quick trivia. Romey 1878
Gareth Bale stayed on his feet for 5 minutes. If he'd played for them 13 years ago that might have actually been funny.

Dalziel Kane
No No, a dog ran on to the pitch from the park end, held up play for 15 minutes and took a while to restore order. Joe Max Moore scored an added time goal to grab us a 2 - 2 draw on the day. Walter Smith would have been manager. There was a brief furore at the time "Dog invades field and causes havoc". Or something. Bale wasn't a part of the Tottenham squad in 1999/2000 FFS. Was he being serious. Never know what to believe on these pages sometimes. No, Campbell got the first.... http://www.evertonfc.com/stats/?mode=fixture_details&fixture_id=4529 Hang on....he'd still have been at Spuds then (and I don't think he ever scored for us), my mistake.
