Matt
Whilst I'm quite excited, didnt we just get a young RB?! Quinn31
Quinn31
We don't need anymore young fullbacks at the moment. mcirony
Romey 1878
We're trying to emulate Spurs. They hoarded RB's and now they're challenging the top 4. Bailey and Matt
thoward18
We're trying to emulate Spurs. They hoarded RB's and now they're challenging the top 4. The also hoarded just about everything else. We don't have the luxury of spending money on everyone we choose. Coleman just got an extension and our only transfer in January was for a young RB. I can't imagine, with every dollar counting, that we're going to spend money on a right back when we have so many other positions in genuine need of depth or even upgrading. Steve_E
Stones sure has the length of a centre back (6'2"/188cm) and he might still be growing a bit as he's only 18 years old. I'd be surprised if someone that tall is agile enough to play right back in the Premier League. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22159403 I wouldn't mind taking a punt on a guy like that if he's not overly expensive. You can never have too much talent.
GoodisonRoad
Stones sure has the length of a centre back . If you say so... Never guess i turned 20 couple of weeks ago Matt

Romey 1878
Southampton have had a bid rejected for him. He's someone I would love us to sign. He's going to be a very good player and would be proper back up for Coleman. Matt
johnh
Byram was a real prospect a year ago but suffered with injuries and hasn't 'kicked-on'. His best position is still not clear. His defending is not good enough for Right Back at a higher level. Right sided attacking midfield would probably be the best option. Leeds would probably let him go for £7/8m. c1982
I don't want Coleman to go but if he does then here is my 1st choice replacement (now Trippier's gone to Spurs). http://www.nsno.co.uk/everton-news/2015/06/blues-linked-leeds-right-back/ markjazzbassist and Lowensda
Romey 1878
He's someone I've said I'd like here for quite a while now, so I'd be good with that.
FairWooney
apparently Snodin is his advisor/agent so i'm sure he'd push him our way. I'd be sad to See Coleman go but this lad sounds decent and younger than Coleman. Need to get maximum fee for Coleman if he's to go though. Walker
We need good competition for Coleman and a player ready to step into his position if he were to leave, we haven't had adequate RB cover for quite some time so if the fee isn't too high I'd be all for it. I do think Coleman won't be sold for at least another 2 years and then possibly stay further. markjazzbassist, Matt and Lowensda
Guest rusty747
I agree. Ideal scenario would be to sign this lad, loan him out and in 2 or 3 years time we could have a back four of Byram Sones Galloway and Garbutt. markjazzbassist and Lowensda

Lowensda
Didn't think that would happen but would definitely take him next season to push Coleman on or out.

I read that that's because he's been played as a right winger.
