Matt
That article cites eyefootball.com as a source, might not be the most reliable source? true, but its Louis posting it. If he posts about new registered trademarks of the club, he might be onto something here too...

efc1111
We're linked with him again in the Express, but Liverpool are also said to be interested: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/443948/Lazio-s-Ogenyi-Onazi-ready-to-snub-Everton-interest-in-favour-of-Liverpool-move

c1982
A lot of sources from Italy are saying we've contacted Lazio about him. Joey Barton's just tweeted about him being sent off softly in Lazio's game (currently going on) and referred to him as an EFC target. Ian C
Is it bad that regardless of how talented an African player is, the very existence of the ACN is enough to make me think twice about them? Shudder to think back to those 2-3 really bad years when we lost 3-4 players to that fucking tournament.

Shudder to think back to those 2-3 really bad years when we lost 3-4 players to that fucking tournament. Totally agreed. Wouldn't want to sign an African international unless he was world class and also had a big squad to cover the ACN, e.g Drogba's time at Chelsea

It's looking like we'd have to spend £7-7.5m.

Cornish Steve
This is excellent. We're strengthening in midfield and up-front, which is where we lack depth.
Lowensda
He's highly thought of. Be impressed if we managed to prize him away from Italy.
Steve_E
Anyone ever seen this kid play? If so, what kinda player is he?
JoeQuince
Haven't seen much of him, but he seems to either play as a box to box type and sometimes more as a DM. Looks to have a good range of passing as well. He's young, at 21. I could see him alongside McCarthy having a great future as a partnership here. They seem to be rather similar players. Håkon Andre Elvheim
You have to keep in mind, he is from Nigeria so you know he has pace, not to much strength but that could be McCarthy's attribute

efc1111
We're still being linked with this guy, along with the RS, Southampton and Sunderland, according to Italian media. http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2014/07/liverpool-and-everton-lead-the-chase-for-lazio-midfielder/?
