Romey 1878
Coleman's taking his "career to new heights" comment a little too seriously... I feel a bit sick looking at that.
MikeO
I feel a bit sick looking at that. Bit of a pussy though, holding on with his left arm. Probably a good idea though, he'd likely have done some soft tissue damage if he fell. Matt

Makis
There are a couple of Eastern Europeans who do that sort of stuff. I think one of them did actually die a while ago. This is an example: although the stunt this guy pulls off (literally) after about a minute and a half makes my stomach turn: https://youtu.be/kpS7vhvkIQM . Shukes
Bloody hell thats all we need. It's on the OS, Colemans out for three weeks. Apparently he fell from height during a new training exercise designed to circulate more oxygen into the hamstrings. The fall didn't actually do any damage as he landed into a roll. But as he landed his selfie stick poked him is his right eye doing soft tissue damage. Edited August 7, 2015 by Shukes MikeO

Lowensda
Interesting that in my lifetime, Martinez is statistically our best manager (based on win %). Edit; Fuck. Found out I share a birthday with McGeady Edited August 7, 2015 by tenaciousj
rubecula
Something I just found out..... I have the same birthday as Gerard Deulofeu. Not so much interesting as upsetting I think.

Paddock
Cleverley was the first player to make his debut on the first day of the season since 07/08 when Andy Johnson did. How utterly disgusting is that.
Matt
Why?
Makis
Because it means we do the meaningful business only after the season has started.
Paddock
Why? Because for 8 years we have not had the money to get our targets in early. I'm not getting in to this "it's ok/not ok to wait till deadline day " we should get players in early and bed them in.
johnh
Telegraph Sport sums up our situation quite nicely. Referring to 'after match' interviews it highlighted that while Martinez spent a chunk of his interview trying to convince everyone that Stones would not be sold, Watford manager, Flores, (who played six new signings) was discussing the possibilities of more recruits rather than the challenge of fending off potential sales. johnh
MikeO, fair enough, but if Martinez had anything positive to talk about he could have influenced the agenda.
c1982
Collymore has got EFC high on his agenda for Talksport at 7 tonight - even said he's going to try and put some questions to Kenwright. Meanwhile, Martinez is supposedly a guest on MNF tonight also at 7. Take your pick!
