MikeO
There is no word in existence that accurately describes how unlucky Jelavic has been. That was an incredible turn to make something out of nothing. Was a thing of beauty!
Steve_E
Jagielka and Distin could do with some passing drills. Edited January 12, 2013 by Steve_E Bailey
Mirallas
You call that a decent start?
mcirony
You call that a decent start? We went 6 mins without conceding. Magic!
pete0
Getting closer. We need to find the back of the net while were on top.
Bailey
Good chance again there but we are playing like this is a training game. We need to press them more and pass the ball much quicker.
Steve_E
Anichebe does his best work in the middle. Move him there permanently. Get Oviedo on for Neville and drop Fellaini back. Bailey
mcirony
Ha ha you could hear Moyes shouting "wider wider wider...OH FOR FUCKS SAKE".
Bailey
Our movement is disgraceful. Both Coleman & Jags make a run and no-one else decides to give them an angle. We need some impetus!
JoeQuince
IS JELAVIC EVER GOING TO GET SOME FUCKING SERVICE???!!!???
Bailey
Distin slow to cover there. Jags passes him on and he is caught a little flat footed.
pete0
Fellaini should be doing better than that.
pete0
Does Jagielka wear steel toe caps? It would explain a lot.
Steve_E
Great delivery from Baines. pete0
Bailey
Distin was better there, good covering. Neville on the other hand seems to be standing still watching the game being played around him. Sideliner
Steve_E
Neville off, Oviedo on (and Anichebe into the middle) plz.
Lowensda
Pienaar's been poor IMO. The boys need to bring it up a notch or two. Too many sloppy passes and poor decision making.
Avinalaff
Laid back and not enough purpose. Very little creativity, and lazy movement. If we want something out of the season we need to work harder. It's the kind of game where the opposition could nick it, so time to find the net, and be more clinical. Only Coleman has my applauds. Sideliner
Neville has at most given 1 forward pass the whole game - total waste of space - Fellaini to mid and Anichebe in the middle with Velios on for Jelavic - please
Bailey
Pienaar's been poor IMO. The boys need to bring it up a notch or two. Too many sloppy passes and poor decision making. I dont think anyone has done that well tbh... Too slow & no-one is driving us forward. We are letting them get set before we attack and then all we do is hoof it forward. Moyes keeps telling Vic to stay wide, but he needs to be getting inside more as he looks a threat when he does. Moyes needs to give them a bollocking. If we arent going to change anyone then at least move Felli back and let Osman start finding space to make things happen.
Peter H
Coleman has been brilliant. Swans cant seem to handle him. The rest have been ok. Im against dropping Felli into midfield, him and Jelavic are winning every ball. Question of time before it results in a goal. Neville hasnt been that bad in this game. Ok both Osman and Pienaar do more to bring the ball forward but Phil has cleaned up nicely behind them. It strikes me how mobile this Everton team is, at one point Jelly was playing almost RB. Jags has almost been an offensive midfielder at times and Baines was a lone striker at one point with Jelly on the left trying to cross it in. Swans look dangerous on the break. Need to tighten up and not loose the ball when going forward. Try and finish each attack.
MikeO
How crap is Nathan Dyer ? That was a comedy forty five minutes from him. But we've not been great, waiting for (and expecting) things to happen rather than forcing it....I agree with Avin, some great attacking play from Seamus. Avinalaff
Keep the ball on the floor, and be more patient. Keep possession, and offer more movement.
Sideliner
Fellaini receives the ball every time with his back to the goal - he turns too slowly - does not really service Jelavic cause he can''t see him with his back to goal
Sideliner
Jelavic has most off-sides in whole PL - maybe he is just a poacher ?

Bailey
Yeh Coleman has been good actually, in fact in general the whole back 4 has been solid.
Steve_E
Yeh Coleman has been good actually, in fact in general the whole back 4 has been solid. Defensively at least. Jagielka in particular has been horrendous with the ball in his feet. Tried to play it on the ground a couple of times, but passed it to a Swansea player every time. pete0
Great show of strength from Anichebe. We could do with a sub on who's creative, Barkley would be ideal right now . Haha at Jelavic's overhead.
Bailey
Good play there and all caused by pressing them high up the pitch (from Vic).
