Louis
According to Nigerian journalist Colin Udoh (ESPN and formerly of the Nigerian FA) Reading have had a bid accepted for Anichebe (caveat: he says "it seems").
Fearthainn
Now that he seems to have found some consistency we're letting him go? Can't see it, particularly with our squad depth issues and injuries this season.

Ian C
Would have to be in the region of 7-8m for us to accept really. His goals-to-games ratio is great and in the last couple of months he's been working his arse off on the pitch and looking fitter, faster and stronger than he ever has. GoodisonRoad
Would have to be in the region of 7-8m for us to accept really. This. We know they've got cash, and to get a decent striker in is never cheap.
Sideliner
it will be a sad loss of arguably our best attacking force this season
Ian C
Moyes has just laughed off reports of this saying "That's not true, I'm not selling anyone", according to Prenno and GO'K
Louis
The journalist has just apologised as he had Hope Akpan (former Everton player) confused with Victor Anichebe.

GoodisonRoad
how does he get a player who has been playing for Crawley for 2 years mixed up with someone who has scored 5 goals in 12 games for our first team this year? Bollox, he got caught chatting shite basically

GoodisonRoad
Fourth Official has actually said this is a go-er... Akpan to Reading that is. Bit of a strange one tbh, they supposedly have quite a bit of cash to spend and they bring in a player from 2 divisions below? Wonder if we have any Sell-on clause... Avinalaff
It's nice to see we appreciate Victor. He deserves positive reward for his determination and belief.
Hafnia
He's been on a journey has the lad. I hope he continues on this uphill curve because he's starting to look the part. His hold up play has been loads better. For all his attributes I feel there is more to come. Lets hope he doesn't get the hump and sulk again. Lowensda
What normally happens is, we think he's on the 'turn', he puts in some cracking performances....and curse of the commentator, he'll do bad or get injured. Once he irons out the inconsistencies within his game, he could be a very useful player.
Blue 250
Victors pass to Coleman last night for our 5th goal was perfection and probably not what you would expect fom the powerfull target man. Maybe his best is yet to come, his strenght and holding ability make him the perfect foil for Jelavic and Mirallas.
Zoo
Hope Akpan is shit, won't get into the Reading team at all.
Shukes
did anyone else notice a few bursts of speed in last nights game? he looked very laid back and one point and the BAM! a turn of explosive pace, that to be honest i didnt know he had. I have to say i am pretty excited to see Vic these days.
Lowensda
Beat a couple of guys as well. How that will fair against Prem standard opposition, I don't know but from what i've seen, he just got better and better.

FC Clutch
Anichebe has been great in the playtime we've seen him this season, but he's still too injury prone for me. Great if he doesn't get injured for the remainder of the season. Won't be surprised if he does.
