Lowensda
He's apparently passed his medical with Fulham. https://twitter.com/NuSportNL/status/429298873484341248 It'll be interesting to see who is brought in to replace him if he goes there. I remember being quite excited when we signed him from Atletico Madrid and now I don't care if he stays or goes, it's funny how things work out. I was the same, I was amazed we pulled it off in the first instance, loved the man. However, now its better if he moves on. Hope we buy....someone decent. That'd be nice. Surprised Kortney Hause isn't mentioned again.
msloan78
Good luck to him if he goes there. Always said he was a big flagship signing for us when we got him, and he's served us well when he has played.

Louis
Free transfer is odd, Everton must've wanted rid of him quickly to bring someone else in, and it never panned out as planned. Instead we've lost a 30 year old World Cup finalist on a free transfer to a league rival. I'd rather have kept him tbh.
rubecula
I don't use twitter but apparently he tweeted a nice goodbye message to Everton fans saying thank you and he will always be a blue at heart.
Newty82
Always liked Jonny. Shame that for whatever reason it just didnt work. Seemed to do well at first then just teeter out.

Steve_E
can't look beyond this...was his 5 months really gonna cost us that much? 65k a week on a contract till 30/6/2014. That's another 22 weeks or so. So we're saving about £1.5m by my very rudimentary calculations
Bailey
Good luck to him and I hope the move works out. Id have prefered to have another body in the squad but its not like we are going to miss him.

Romey 1878
He's retired from playing and joined Ajax's coaching staff.
Lowensda
I think he'll be a brilliant coach myself. Always seemed likable but stern. Passionate guy. Really liked Jon, just a shame he got wasted (due to our very strong partnership of Jags and Distin) as a CDM, was a better CB for a time. I agree, there was great excitement on here when we signed him. I'm also pretty sure that his is the only "rumourama" thread that I started that actually happened . http://www.toffeetalk.com/index.php?/topic/18653-johnny-heitinga/?hl=heitinga Matt
Louis
I didn't realise he was now a coach at Ajax. He's the U19 manager. rubecula
