Won't be much of a bidding war for a player w/6 months left. Who knows, I reckon West Ham is a mess in the dressing room right now.

GoodisonRoad
Surprised him and Jelavic played yesterday as it means they are both now cup tied doesn't it? Which i think means they both might be going abroad?

GoodisonRoad
Or we decided we're still paying their substantial wages and have every right to play them. Of course we do All im saying is, in my head a move abroad now seems the more likely option.
Romey 1878
Of course we do All im saying is, in my head a move abroad now seems the more likely option. Why? Newcastle and QPR are both out and they're the clubs linked.

Matt
Cup tie them in case we come across them in future, makes sense. More likely to be Romeys reasoning though.

Guest rusty747
I know Johnny wasn't on the pitch long yesterday but how did he play? It looks like Jelly has rediscovered his scoring boots and I was wondering if we might be able to play them both a bit if they stayed?
Matt
Johnny looked composed as usual. Will be sad to see him go. Jela worked hard and has today said there's a chance he will stay, acknowledging the form of Rom. Someone's mentioned playing him against Norwich, and I agree. If he scores again, he may well have rediscovered his form but assuming he's done that after 2 goals against a very poor QPR is a bit knee jerk. Here's hoping the Jela when he first arrived is back, we could do with that boost! Quinn31 and Romey 1878
Quinn31
A very nasty Everton fan on Twitter told me that Heitinga was "shite" and a "fraud"... Questioned Heitinga's professionalism. I couldn't believe it, as Heitinga was our best player in 2011/2012 and despite losing form and falling out of favor, Martinez has complimented him on his work ethic and professionalism. Sad to see him go, but a move would be best for both parties.
duncanmckenzieismagic
Yeah I was a bit surprisrd and dissapointed that Johnny got booed by a small section of the fans when he came on
Guest blueboy122
That's disgusting why would anyone boo Johnny. He has been a true pro even though he hasn't been playing and he must be desperate to considering its World Cup year. I certainly would have been singing his name instead of booing him. Feel sorry for him really as I believe he likes it here in England and is settled but is being forced to move to play more. duncanmckenzieismagic
The booing was coming from the Gwlady. I sit right behind the goal in the middle of block GT4

I sit right behind the goal in the middle of block GT4 Must've been a very small minority then coz I sit in the Gwladys and only heard applause. Disappointing that even one person booed him really. Matt
I didn't hear any booing, and loved the Gwladys street singing his name. Some fans are idiots...

bluenosetoffee
Where ever he ends up then good luck to him. He has never said anything bad about the club (what I can remember anyway). He is obviously upset that he doesn't play often but a true professional who keeps his head down and gets on with it. Shukes
Hope he goes. He has been a model proffesional since he has been here and i wouldn't mind us letting him go on a free to say thank you for your proffesionalism. He needs regular football to get himself back into WC contention and it's not happening here. Quinn31

MikeO
Really really hope he moves abroad, like the guy a lot and I'd hate for him to play against us (though if it was in the Champions League I'd cope ).
efc1111
Maybe it will end up being a swap deal with Stoke for Kenwynne Jones, given that both are out of contract in the summer. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/everton-transfer-news-kenwyne-jones-3019975? Romey 1878
That's a good idea No it's not. Any deal that involves Kenwyne Jones is not a good idea. Matt and GoodisonRoad
Lowensda
I remember being in the Park End when Liverpool were close to buying him from Sunderland and he spooned a shot toward the PE, top row, only to hear our fans sing "Rafa sign him up, Rafa Rafa sign him up". Only for him to waste a golden opportunity a couple of minutes later, to level the score; he smashes it wildly wide and the Sunderland fans start singing "Rafa sign him up, Rafa Rafa sign him up"
