Avinalaff
You are quite correct we are in a new calendar year however that is irrelevant! http://www.fifa.com/...t_en_122007.pdf "Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs" He's only played for City this season hasn't he?
Avinalaff
Incidentally, why have 2 transfer windows, and then set a 2 club limit?
scouse
as in theory you would assume a new player in wouldnt be shipped out as quick...

Guest
Been thinking about this transfer and cant see the point from either side. He wont be first choice when everybody is fit so why would we swap a bench for a bench? and from our side he is S-H-I-T-E
scouse
he has more chance of coming on for us tho with the smaller squad.

I think 5 mil sounds about right If he was here and we were to sell him I would want more like £10mil. But then he wouldn't have just spent an entire season getting splinters in his arse. StevO
Would be good for £5m, left side of a front three. Him and Kev either side of a striker would be exciting IMO.

I just post the links mate, doesn't mean I believe them . I believe very little of what the press say about us signing anyone tbh because the majority of the time we sign players we've never been linked with. c1982
City have 'signed' Navas and now Fernandinho so that's Sinclair and Nasri gone. Tevez is in talks with Juve too.
Romey 1878
Not a big fan of him, he seems more of a headless chicken than anything (did improve with Swansea though), but getting more pace into our snail 11 isn't a bad thing. Steve_E
He's another one who prefers the left wing, isn't he? I wouldn't mind getting him, but I'd really prefer a genuine right winger.

Avinalaff
He is a guy who comes from the same club Martinez managed, so we will always be linked. It might be nice if we sign a player he has not worked with before, given that the teams he worked with were all lesser than our own.
StevO
Sinclair signed for Swansea in 2010. Martinez signed for Wigan in 2009. They havent worked together before. If he's cheap, great. If he's expensive i'd rather have Moses.

Vranny
The only reason I'd take Sinclair over, say Ince, would be due to the likelihood of getting him on loan with an option to buy. I'd be very surprised if we had much coin left, so getting a good look at player before buying and delaying any purchase isn't such a bad idea. We can always toss him come the end of the season if he turns out rubbish anyway.
