Peter H
Bahrains GFH Capital has bought Leeds and are looking to invest heavely in the club. How the hell is Leeds a better buy than Everton?
Romey 1878
No one is buying football clubs. Didn't you know?
Lowensda
Cheaper?
Peter H
It pisses me off. Everton should be the most attractive club on the market considering history, current league position, stability and fan base but the price tag is to big. Asking for to much, biting of more than we can chew, eyes to big for our bellies etc etc.
MikeO
Yeah....why aren't we up there challenging for trophies with the likes of Portsmouth, Blackburn, Cardiff, Leicester, QPR and Reading ? c1982
Avinalaff
History means very little to investors. It's like dating a 30 stone minger because she was an ex catwalk model before she discovered pies. Lesser sides are cheaper, and are happy with a chippy meal, where as we would be wanting Chateaubriand and a fine wine every day. marcopaulo and Zoo

foobiezw
Rich owners aside, is it really such a big advantage with financial fair play rules coming into effect?
Peter H
It means that you dont have to sell your best players to stay alive

Fearthainn
Cardiff are doing well to be fair, it only took the new owners stripping the club of their identity
MikeO
I forgot Villa. And Birmingham....we too could have a fire sale (like the one they're about to face) in a few years time. If only we could get that damn investment .
