Fearthainn
Why did the ref end the half when we had the ball right outside of their box? Did I miss something?
Pearso
Another referee to screw us out of points. Same old story.
MikeO
Compare that to Arteta dragging down on Pienaar on Wednesday . We don't get a stonewall and the "top four" get one as soft as fuck. Disgrace. pete0
chicagoblue
Didn't see the pen decision in real time. Looked a dive by Dzeko in slow motion, but pulls are sometimes easier to see at full speed. Definitely had a whiff of defending champions luck to it though. At the same time, we'd barely had the ball since scoring, giving them too much time and space put us under pressure. Need to come back out the way we started the game. The more we possess the ball, even if not penetrating with every attack, the better we'll fare.
Peter H
Again the ref could play a massive part in the outcome of a game for everton. Bad pen call. It was Man Citys 6th penalty this season. 6th!!! How many have we had?

I'm almost starting to believe it's more of an Everton bothering the top 4 whiff
msloan78
If that was a penalty.... then we should have had a free kick about half a second previous when Lescott clearly pulled Jagielka over. And, I wish Hibbo would've just twatted that one in the box rather than try to lay it back in to Felli. Then again, I suppose thats one of the reasons he's never scored. MikeO
If that was a penalty there's one at virtually every corner taken at every football match in the history of the game.
MikeO
And, I wish Hibbo would've just twatted that one in the box rather than try to lay it back in to Felli. Was screaming for the same thing.
Guest blueboy122
Surely a push in Distins back.....Trevor Francis take on it: Lucky to get away with it Distin made a mistake there. Brilliant

Aidan
Not doing anything with the ball. I know city are trying to get their tempo but we have no fluidity on our counters. Its just stop start.
Fearthainn
Far too tame this half, I'm afraid it will be a matter of tiem if we carry on like this.

Steve_E
Why do we keep shooting from so far out of the box?
Aidan
Why do we keep shooting from so far out of the box? This is what I was thinking. There are better options.
pete0
Can't believe Felli is booked for that when Toure and Kompany have both done more and worse fouls.
Aidan
I dont like Naismith Ive never seen a player that is just so plainly average at everything. He offers nothing to the team, especially out on the wing

chicagoblue
Decent point in the end. Hung on a bit at times and sat too deep for my liking, but Howard never really troubled. Not sure why we couldn't keep any possession in the second half, but that nullified our threat.
Fearthainn
We were good in the last 20 minutes or so keeping City at bay. I was afraid we'd just start playing deeper and deeper. Very good point on paper, but you get the feeling it could have been all 3. Nothing new there then.
Peter H
Its a good point to take. If someone had offered me two points against Arsenal and Man City a couple of weeks ago, id take them and smile. Shame the ref gave them the penalty though. Jagielka was again awesome. My motm
pete0
Good performance should have been a win, should have been £95 in my pocket. More annoyed at how many points we've dropped due directly to refs decisions.

msloan78
Setanta were saying it was soft, and by the same logic Everton should have had a free kick earlier for the push on Jags! Just seen the table now, and we've fallen back into midtable, and only 4 points ahead of the shite!
