markjazzbassist
honestly i never liked the guy as a player or person when i first started following everton. he has grown on me immensely, real solid dude and player. this is ices the cake, he should get some sort of humanitarian of the league award with all the nice stuff he does. Shukes
Always said he will be captain one day. Moments like this can only reinforce the importance of players like Seamus. A role model for our senior players as well as the younger lads.
London Blue
I'm glad I was wrong and glad he is back. The man has some spirit to come back from a horrific injury like that. As has been said he is a natural leader and I hope he is captain when he comes back to the first team, he epitomises Everton and can give our team the lift it so badly needs. I thought he looked timid for the U23s which you would expect. He isn'tt anywhere near ready for the first team, just like Bolasie! StevO
He won’t be starting. Having him on the bench to feel part of the team again is great progress, maybe give him the last ten minutes to get back on the pitch in front of the home support will be huge for Seamus.
