Moyski
How bad is it? if Pienaar wasn't suspended and played left and with a normal midfield say Fellaini in the middle with Osman and Mirallas free role behind Jelavic, we'd have fucking hammered them yesterday. Hafnia
looking at the type of injury Suarez did him proper, studs on standing foot - not good. Likely to be a sprain I think.
pete0
If Felli had done this he'd be getting slated on motd and called dirty on all the football forums. No attempt for the ball, just wants to injure him, should be banned. The 'challenge' on Distin was disgusting as well luckily he escaped without injury. Hopefully Mirallas' isn't anything serious. MikeO
That angle you can see it's intentional, deliberately shortens his stride to stand on Kev's foot. Disgrace.
Sideliner
This is a case of two reds which turned into 1 yellow - if Suarez's surname was Pienaar he would have been deported after being charged for assault with intent to do grievious bodily harm - the facts are clear for all to see - but are coveniently ignored by FA - litterally turning the blind eye.Stirlings 2 fouls made Pienaars look feeble - yet who got the red card - Everton - shamefull and disgusting state of affairs in the Premier Leaugue because of sub-standard refereeing bordering on daylight match fixing (Clattenburg/Chelsea)
chicagoblue
I think if a lot of other players were in the position of having committed that foul you could easily say it was unintentional. But we all know two things about Suarez. 1) He's a cunt. 2) He has amazing feet. You don't turn players inside out like he can without know exactly where your feet are all the time. Once Kev flicked the ball past him Suarez knew he had two options, stumble past or trod on the top of this foot. It's clearly not a swipe for the ball, it's a clear intentional follow through. I for one won't shed any tears when Cattermole or Mulumbu or Diakite slice straight through his knee one of these days. He deserves it and he's asking for it with his attitude. Simply not the kind of character that's needed in the league. Edited October 29, 2012 by chicagoblue
marcus jones
What about Gerrard's tackle on Gary Naismith and ''Kung Foo Dirk Kuyt's" assault from behind? That club has previous....... sneaky fookers them all............
Avinalaff
There should be retrospectful punishment for shit like that. It's just another form of cheating.
Johnsy
There should be retrospectful punishment for shit like that. It's just another form of cheating. Well, it went unpunished by the ref at the time, so I think technically I suppose it could be looked at and action taken. It won't, but it could (and should imo, especially if Mirallas is out for a while now). What about Gerrard's tackle on Gary Naismith and ''Kung Foo Dirk Kuyt's" assault from behind? That club has previous....... sneaky fookers them all............ This one.... .....I honestly don't know who I think is more of a cunt, Suarez or Gerrard

Kohen
That's such an unnatural place for his foot to land, the more you watch it the worst it becomes- anyone who doesn't believe it was intentional is delusional. It is debatable however, if he did or did not mean to stamp on Mirallas or merely try and trip him - but that's playing Devil's advocate. Bluenose123
Suarez is a cunt. Simple as, dirty player, not a nice person. Clearly went into that tackle aiming to hurt Kev. Then the tackle against Distin, should have been sent off. Gerrard a cunt as well, has anybody heard what he has said about Everton today? Saying we play like Stoke.... Did you get that from Fergie by any chance....If you look on the liverpool website and the statistics. Liverpool long ball passes were a higher percentage than Evertons. How does that work then Gerrard..... :/

MikeO
The Echo... "EVERTON hope Kevin Mirallas will be fit to face Fulham on Saturday after the Belgian international escaped serious injury in a tackle with Luis Suarez during the Merseyside derby. The 25-year-old was unable to carry on in the second half of Sunday’s 2-2 draw, after suffering pain in his foot following a clumsy challenge by the Uruguayan international forward." "Mirallas left Goodison Park on crutches sparking fears he had suffered a broken metatarsal bone, but initial tests yesterday are believed to have indicated it is not that serious. The £5.5m summer signing, who has scored three goals since arriving from Olympiakos, will now face a race against time to recover before the trip to Craven Cottage." Guest blueboy122
Why didn't that Suarez dive in front of Moyes attract a card? Isnt that inciting or something? Pathetic decision again, running into your own fans is classed as a yellow card, but now inciting the fans and team bench isnt. I am glad Suarez did it though he just looked like a right knob and shows to the rest of the world what a scum bag he is with no respect or morales. Speaking to City, Leeds, United, Tranmere fans in work and they were all saying "what the fuck is that about" "its embarrasing"
