Dalziel Kane
I don't see what's so amusing about it. I merely thought Simonsen wasn't relevant enough, but decided in the end to include him (he was the only name available for a birthday) Not a team player that will live long in the memory that's all

Dalziel Kane
He was about 36 when we got him and not sure what Smith was playing at, apart from the obvious experience aspect but not a signing we really needed to make. I think Smith just held him in regard from their days at Glasgow Rangers and decided on a pally signing. Worth saying, it was about a year after this, we brought in Paul Gascgoine, so it does make a certain amount of sense. Smith would have tried to have brought in Henderson and Waddell if he'd had his way. I think he'd simply lost it a bit by that stage. Poor manager (for us), although some bizarre signings for sure.
