Romey 1878
No point risking a serious injury for a game that's already gone.
Zoo
What else have they got to play for? They are 9 points ahead of Real Madrid already so the league is pretty much done and dusted. I thought that they would have gone all out to win tonight as the Champions League is a big thing for them. The word on Twitter is that he will come on at half-time when Barca have tired Munich out. Romey 1878
If he gets a serious injury then he'll miss more than the end of this season. Which is my point. Nothing to do with having anything left to play for.
Zoo
I personally think these are the types of games that you need Messi whether it's risky or not.
Romey 1878
The games gone. He did nothing in the first leg. No point.
MikeO
I personally think these are the types of games that you need Messi whether it's risky or not. And playing an unfit Messi worked like a charm for them in the first leg!
Zoo
He was piss poor in the first leg but he's the best player in the world. He doesn't have many off-days.
Zoo
This is fantastic - the Bayern Munich chairman talking about next years season ticket price (£104). ''We could charge more than £104. Let's say we charged £300. We would get £2m more income, but whats £2m to us? In a transfer discussion you argue about that sum for five minutes. But the difference between £104 and £300 is huge for a fan. We do not think football fans are like cows, who you milk. Football has got to be for everybody. That is the biggest difference between us and England. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/revealed-bayern-munich-season-ticket-1752700 Romey 1878, Steve_E and pete0

Zoo
I hope that Dortmund can beat them in the final but you can't deny that Bayern don't deserve to be there. 7-0 on aggregate against Barcelona is something to be proud of - even at the Camp Nou they've not allowed Barca to have even a sniff of a chance at goal. Dalziel Kane
what was it, 3 - 0 in the end for an away game victory for the germans. That's damn impressive, and look at that, 7 - 0 aggregate win of all things ?, against what has been the best club side in Europe for the last four or five years. All german final it is then, a first ever for the European Cup / Champions League since it's inception in 1955/56 Not really assed about who wins the final. Won't favor either, but as always, such a relief after last years fucking embarrassment. It has to be an improvement.
Matt
16mins injury time in the 1st half at Watford v Leeds. Not seen the injuries in detail but thats gotta be some kind of record, no?
MikeO
16mins injury time in the 1st half at Watford v Leeds. Not seen the injuries in detail but thats gotta be some kind of record, no? "There's a really nasty looking scene right in front of us. Leeds striker Steve Morison has gone down after an innocuous challenge and has barely moved since. Three medics are currently looking at him and seem concerned." He was OK though....took about five minutes, then... "Drama at Vicarage Road where goalkeeper Jonathan Bond, who only started because first-choice Manuel Almunia was injured in the warm-up, is carried off on a stretcher. That has paved the way for youngster Jack Bonham to make his senior debut. Big, big moment in the race for automatic promotion to the Premier League. A lengthy delay - must be 10 minutes - so their game won't end at the same time at Hull's."
MikeO
Hull have taken the lead over Cardiff having been one down; would give them promotion. Deserve it over the season I think.
Matt
ive not followed the Championship this season, didnt realise it was so tight. Shame about Wolves, another team to collapse.
Zoo
I'd prefer Hull to go up over Watford. Even though Cardiff are champions they need to seriously step up if they are to survive in the Premier League - that first goal was a joke. Edit: Watford are down to 10 men (fully justified). Zoo
Shocking at Hull. Hull are awarded a penalty in the 91st minute which the fans mistake for the final whistle and invade the pitch. Pretty weird because I've had a little inkling that Hull would get a late pen

Zoo
That's an amazing game for the neutral. I think Hull are going up anyway as Watford are still locked at 1-1 with Leeds United. Edit: Watford have 6 minutes (plus added time) to find a winner. Edited May 4, 2013 by Zoo

pete0
Why was Tottenham vs Southampton delayed by 30mins? Road closed or something, didn't quite catch the full reason, but the commentator said it would have took twice as long getting the game today.
