johnh
Two of their goals were offside as well Saw one of the Tottenham goals. The winger, who was stood almost in front of the linesman, was a good three yards offside when the ball was played. Couldn't believe the linesman didn't flag. markjazzbassist
Zouma as good as Stones? As Ricky Tomlinson would say; my arse! I said the same thing during the transfer saga and was slated by some saying he's top notch very close to stones level would start on most teams etc Glad I was right all along. He has a lot to learn, but the championship will be a good league for him to do it in next year
MikeO
I think (seriously) Mourinho is unhinged. The lack of eye contact in post match interviews, or any conversation for that matter, is a neon sign of a troubled person. Today was a perfect example. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34370954 Often been said that the line between genius and madness is fine, Jose is a prime example. On the positive side mike the draw gets them one more point closer to that ever important 40 points to not be relegated lol
Cornish Steve
All the best to Truro City and Bodmin Town in the FA Cup this weekend. Fly the flag for Cornwall! Not a good day. Bodmin lost to Bath, while Truro face a replay against Taunton.
MikeO
Not a good day. Bodmin lost to Bath, while Truro face a replay against Taunton. Take that Cornwall! My mum and one of my brothers live in Bath and Taunton is only fifteen miles from me (not keen on the place though, only go there occasionally because there's a big Asda). Somerset fighting back . johnh
Cornish Steve, The rugby club I support, Maidenhead, (30 miles from London) are in the South West division. I remember one year in the 1990's we visited Cornwall for games against: Penzance & Newlyn, St. Ives, Camborne, and Launceston. We also had a trip to Barnstaple in Devon. Don't do the long trips now. MikeO
Yup. Stack Stevens used to play for P&N. Cornwall had some good teams - still do. Dwarfed by Exeter's recent achievements though, from an average lower level team in a crap ground to a new stadium (being used in the WC) and challenging in the top half of the Premiership in a decade. Big news locally and great support. Keep meaning to go to a game but just never get round to it.
johnh
Other teams we have played down in the South West. Torquay, Exmouth, Newton Abbott, Redruth, Truro, Penryn, Brixham. Nearer home: Weston-super-Mare, Taunton. Bridgewater & Albion.
c1982
Arsenal and Chelsea both lose in Europe. How Everton would it be if we finish 4th in the season where England's Champions League representatives get cut to 3?!

Cornish Steve
What it's pointing out is that the top-money clubs are not that good. We already thrashed Chelsea, and I see no reason why we won't beat Liverpool and United. Arsenal can be tricky, but they were shown up again today. Third is quite realistic. MC11
The only thing it's showing is the Premier League has become diluted.... There's very little difference in terms of quality from mid table to the top 4 now. Average players on huge wages who are raved about. If Hazard is meant to be the best player in this league there's something wrong.... He's extremely talented but is very very Inconsistant. You hardly see him in games. Genuinely I think the leagues the weakest it's been in over 20 years. Performances throughout Europe show that

markjazzbassist
West ham crystal palace and Leicester. I'm trying to figure out if they're for real this year or come holidays and some injuries if they will head back to mid table. Love pardew as a a manager, I know he's an ass personally but he doesn't have a lot to work with at palace and has proven how much of newcastles success was down to him. Ranieri is either Harry Potter the magician or just in a run of luck. Mahrez is unstoppable and he's been able to get the most out of everyone in that side. West ham I knew would be good. The porn stars splashed the cash and I've always liked Bilic as a manager (yes Romey I still remember when you called him an average manager and them a mid table side, time will tell). Great campaign storylines so far. We are in the mix no doubt, COYB maybe it's a trophy or top 4 this year.
