johnh
Wales are holding Andorra at half-time. 1 - 1.
gethinO
Bale got us out of jail. Not making excuses but the game should never have been played on that pitch. Terrible. 3 points is 3 points though and with Cyprus winning in Bosnia it gives us hope for the next two matches; home to Bosnia and Cyprus! Up the Welsh! Mogsy
So long as Bale stays fit or we are screwed!
gethinO
No goals in our team without him. He's gonna have to score 10+ if we're to qualify. We start with a win so that's a positive.
johnh
The problem is, Andorra are a Sunday pub team with only one professional (who plays in the Hungarian third division, or something). Yes, the pitch was terrible but Wales should have won this about 6 - 0.
Hafnia
Funny old game international football ain't it?
gethinO
Yeah, I agree, we should have comfortably beaten them but I actually thought Andorra were not that bad (certainly not in the San Marino league). Kept their shape fairly well and defended for their lives and as mentioned earlier, the pitch doesn't help. All I'm bothered about though was the three points and I heavily doubt we'll play that bad again in the qualifying. Onwards and upwards ey! Cornish Steve
Better to be wales than Portugal right now.
Mirallas
I saw this gem on the internet just now. The reason why the new iPhone 6 Plus is a must-have for Manchester United fans: Edit, now I come to think of it, EFC is still not even on that screen. ouch. Cornish Steve
City are up at Arsenal. I know it's early in the season, but I can see it being a two horse race this year.
Guest blueboy122
City are up at Arsenal. I know it's early in the season, but I can see it being a two horse race this year. Definitely the strength of the two squads is massive compared to other teams
Guest blueboy122
Arsenal were never going to hang onto that lead.
Guest blueboy122
The keeper should have left it there. Flamini would have headed it off the line!
Guest blueboy122
Costa is smashing it at the moment! I thought he might have flopped. Looks a great player and one that fits into there system like Drogba did. Matt

MikeO
How many more games before Alan Pardew loses his job? My money would be on none, but he has a ten year contract so he'll get a hefty pay-off.
Cornish Steve
We're level on points, right now, with Liverpool - who are being trashed by Villa. Their defence is more shaky than ours right now.

Paddock
Senderos is one of the worst players I've ever seen on a football field. He's an absolute yard dog.
gethinO
Gotta fancy us there this season if Sturridge is out. Losing Suarez has majorly affected them, he was their difference no doubt. Keep Sterling quiet (Barry and McCarthy) and I fancy us!

Doing an excellent job for Villa though so far - credit where it's due. May not be pretty but it's effective.
Cornish Steve
Always bias! From the BBC website: "If Manchester United can win tomorrow, after Arsenal and Manchester City have drawn and Liverpool have lost, what a weekend it will have been for them." So what about Everton? :shaking fist:
