Romey 1878
4-1 to Fulham now. Could be the end of Holloway. More than likely. But a new manager won't do any better. Matt
Bailey
By the way, at what point are we going to shame the ToffeeTalkers who wanted nothing do with a Ramsey + a hell of a lot of money for Fellaini deal and expose them for the know nothings they are? :wind up: Guilty! Always thought of him as a bit of a Pienaar, by doing lots of good work before having nothing to show for it. You have to admit though, that side of his game has improved dramatically since last season.

Steve_E
to be fair to Moyes, he was after Ramsey and made him a priority signing, arsenal edged us. It wasn't a critique of Moyes. There was this silly season rumour last summer about a deal for Fellaini that included a lot of cash and Ramsey and it divided opinion on this site which I remembered as it showed how little we know. Just googled it and found the rumour: http://www.caughtoffside.com/2013/07/06/arsenal-look-to-tempt-everton-with-17m-plus-player-offer-for-powerhouse-marouane-fellaini/. Apparently spread by SportsDirectNews. 17m + Ramsey for Fellaini

Regarding last summer... how good does that fake Fellaini bid look now?! Most dismissed him (and Giroud) - both class players and proving it this season. Steve_E
Southampton 2-0 up against Fulham at half time. They're really good again, particularly defensively. Closing down high up the pitch, very agressive. Something I'd like to see at Everton. Romey 1878

Guest Nikica
Aye, Suarez is just brilliant - always preferred him to Van Persie. I think Aguero will be better than both though, he's definitely the most talented of the three imo. The best striker in the world right now is probably Ibra though - ridiculously brilliant footballer. Him then Falcao for me. A bit strange that arguably the two best strikers in the world play in France - or perhaps not when you see the financial situation at PSG and Monaco. I'm on the Southampton bandwagon too. Loving watching them under Pochettino and I've liked Luke Shaw for a while now. Would be great to see them keep their form going.
Avinalaff
I think strikers need to prove themselves in the Premier League before they can claim to be the best. Doing it in France or Spain, and doing it against the Prem defenders every week is a different kettle of fish. Peter H
