Dalziel Kane
Fuck what Liverpool do , all said and done. They may have brought in some half decent players and seen a success or two in recent days but under Rogers I can't see them actually winning anything. Saying that, the League Cup will be their best chance to do something this season, so it won't be a surprise of epic proportions if they sneak off with it by end of competition. But it's still a berated and insignificant trophy to win in most peoples eyes. must have been other League Cup games today but not aware of any outcomes. Not interested would be better. Can only focus on the Stevenage game tomorrow. Not all that interested in what other clubs do on the days in question. Maybe if one of the much loathed sides like West Ham or Chelsea had been on the end of an upset or embarrassment from lower league opposition it may of been worth a degree of interest, but even then, that would be unlikely to occur. could have done without the start of the soccer season again to be truthful. Too much irritation often enough.
MikeO
Champions League draw..... Group A: Manchester United, Shakhtar Donetsk, Bayer Leverkusen, Real Sociedad Group B: Real Madrid, Juventus, Galatasaray, Copenhagen Group C: Benfica, Paris St-Germain, Olympiakos, Anderlecht Group D: Bayern Munich, CSKA Moscow, Manchester City, Viktoria Plzen Group E: Chelsea, Schalke, Basel, Steaua Bucharest Group F: Arsenal, Marseille, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli Group G: Porto, Atletico Madrid, Zenit St Petersburg, Austria Vienna Group H: Barcelona, AC Milan, Ajax, Celtic
Romey 1878
Celtic should be in the shit with that group but they could pull a surprise again. Arsenal and United have tough groups. Man City should finally get out of the group stages and you'd expect Chelsea to get through. Matt
Bailey
I think they have all been given groups in which they should fairly comfortably finish 1st or 2nd. Tough break for Celtic though, should be some cracking games in that group! Matt

Dalziel Kane
I wasn't aware there was a draw today but to be fair, it's always appeared highly questionable. These things seem fucking fixed often enough. I can't believe they're just random teams put together. Someone wants, or dictates who plays who and you can forget all about the randomness and 'luck' of draws. Fuck that In any event, there's nothing that can be done, as much as some would like to, but lo and behold Celtic and Milan meet up again with another highly recognized name thrown in for good measure. That's about the fifth time in recent years now, by some estimation. Lo and behold, the plastics and Manchester United get easy groups, and a passage to the next stages, and even Arsenal and Manchester City should make it through themselves. Group H looks to be the hardest, and wouldn't be surprised if some miserable club official from Glasgow Rangers was behind all this. I just hope whoever put all this together, is fucking pleased with themselves by end of competition and they got what they wanted.

Cornish Steve
Group C seems light-weight, whereas group H is a real killer for Celtic.

Steve_E
Hull very dangerous so far. Aluko 1 vs 1 against the keeper and now Graham has scored but he was offside. A great cross from Robbie Brady though. Matt
