Dalziel Kane
I didn't see the goals in any games, and needless to say - won't be watching any fucking highlights later. Irritated that MCFC couldn't get a home win today, but at least they did get a draw and stop that opposition from a victory. It doesn't look they will be able to keep their title next year. I would have prefered them again over any other challengers. I wanted WBA to get a win also, but it wasn't to be. Damn boring outcomes. Not much of a day for soccer action, in that I didn't get the results I would have liked

I'd happily have anyone winning the league over City (apart from Liverpool obviously).
pete0
Winds me up thinking of the points weve dropped this year but i can honestly say without Bale Spurs are average. He's only good against the average sides, they're shit against the rest of the top 7.

Totally agree, its known that Bale goes missing in big games so I don't know why everyone loves him so much. I wouldn't have him here because for what he'd cost he'd never pay for himself. Zoo
What a cunt. http://www.dailymail...goalkeeper.html It doesn't help that the tosser is wearing a bright pink hoodie either. Apparantly he was angry at the time-wasting going on from the Gillingham keeper, I know that time-wasting is annoying (as we saw with Brad Guzan on Saturday) but nobody can condone that. What strikes me too is the level of security at the ground. In Goodison 5 minutes before the end of each half (40/85) the stewards come out onto the side of the pitch to stop this kind of idiotic behaviour from happening - does this not happen everywhere? Security clearly are too lax at Gillingham/Wycombe and this needs to be addressed. Edited February 4, 2013 by Zoo

I mentioned this earlier in the thread (or in another one) and apparantly Adebayor is back next week so he'll only miss one game.
mcirony
I mentioned this earlier in the thread (or in another one) and apparantly Adebayor is back next week so he'll only miss one game. So you did! Apparently Adebayor is back in training in Friday so might play Saturday. I can't see him playing 90 though.

They might have to start him with them having no strikers but I doubt his fitness would be good enough to see out the full 90. I think AVB will start him and hope that they are leading come the 60 minute mark so he can bring him off.

Zoo
Saha's had his Sunderland contract terminated. (Just throwing it out there in case anyone didn't know). Edit: He's now at Lazio. Edited February 7, 2013 by Zoo
Romey 1878
worse than saha last season? Yep. At least with Saha you knew he could possibly score. This lad is hopeless.

Zoo
Lionel Messi has extended his Barcelona contract keeping him at the club until June 2018. He's also said that he has 'no interest' in signing for another club within Europe but has hinted that after 2018 he may go back to his native country of Argentina and see his career out. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21374704 Carlos Puyol and Xavi also extended their contracts until 2016. pete0
Is it even worth being a Newcastle fan for the next 90 mins? Awful record in London, especially at Spurs. Bollocks Bale scores a fk as I type. 4:38 - Newcastle United have not scored in their last four hours & 38 minutes of Premier League football at White Hart Lane. Barren. Fearthainn
Good jinx Pete, keep it up and they may get a second Feared for Newcastle after that start from Spurs, but I could actually see Newcastle nicking it now. Avinalaff
Their defending leaves a lot to be desired. Yes, I agree. Last season, their defence was superb. I had 2 of their defenders in my Fantasy team throughout, but they look shaky now. NOTE Mr Moyes: Spurs haven't sat on their lead. Straight away they try for a 3rd. pete0
