Dalziel Kane
Aston Villa have a rich and established history, had won the FA cup seven times I think before those snides had still yet to even win it. (1970) - History lesson kids. League Champions a few times also, but last time was 1980/81 although they were big and successful as league winners before that I know. Not a snide club, and got to what they did with having a good side and effective manager, just as we did in the 1980s or Nottingham Forest or Derby County before that. So they had a freak result today, not really interested to be honest, although it did bring a spontaneous moment of irritation. They're still unlikely to win anything this season apart from Mickey Mouse and a day out at EuroDisney, so won't be worrying too much over this. Teams you genuinely don't like and get a significant or outstanding result, will always bring some anger, but not worth a worry over. That was - 'Todays soccer action'

pete0
You do realise play had already been stopped right? They didn't know that. The defender cleared the ball. I'm a fan of RVP but he acted like a lil' bitch, he's kicked the ball with more power into defenders w/o them moaning.
Zoo
I disagree, he had his back to the action so when a large force hits him on the back of the head he's obviously going to think the worse. I think RVP had every right to jump up like he did.

Fuck him if he moans, I've had worst hit me playing 5-a-side whilst in goal and paid for the privilege.

A moan fair enough, to front him is a disgrace, embarrassing. I'd be more disappointed if the defender copped out.
Avinalaff
Villa deserve to go down after rolling over the way they have this season. That result was bad for our goal difference.
Peter H
I think its a good result. They might relax a bit and we will thrash them at Goodison. 3-1 COYB.
Zoo
Put a fiver down in the bookies on a five-fold bet which if it comes in will give me £189.50, best of all it wasn't my fiver so no money will be lost!

Bailey
I dont think Williams meant it at all, but I also dont blame RVP for his reaction. I would have had a go as well!
marcus jones
Williams went to kick it away to his left but skewed it in a'' toe punt'' right into his head. If he tried it a hundred times I doubt he would get the same result!
pete0
@TouchlineDrama Interesting hearing Redknapp talk of a 'disturbing incident' where a QPR player said to him―"I don't sit on the bench I'm too good for that"
Fearthainn
It's impossible not to admire Man Utd's mental strength, but it's still fucking annoying every time they do that.
MikeO
It's impossible not to admire Man Utd's mental strength, but it's still fucking annoying every time they do that. Doesn't bother me at all....we're not in competition with either United or Newcastle so I'm completely indifferent about the result.

Romey 1878
I can't stand Newcastle and would rather United won the league than City so I'm very happy with the result today.
Steve_E
Spurs 2 up against Villa. They'll be level with us on 33 points. We still have a better goal difference at this score though.

Fearthainn
The funny thing is I keep reading that they're playing some great football and just need a striker to score some of the 100+ chances they create every weekend, yet whenever I watch them they're wank. Avinalaff
Suarez gets a yellow for a high challenge? I wouldn't want anybody getting sent off, but inonsistent refereeing again. Romey 1878
