pete0
Arsenal 0 - 1 Chelsea Free kick misses everyones heads and falls low, Torres puts his leg round Koscielny and scores a neat tap in. Arsenal have been the better team, but it's been more open since the goal. Torres dilly dallying when he was one on one gives Koscielny time to get back, should have been 2-0. pete0
David Luiz rightly booked for a blatant dive, should be a straight red for cheating.

Lowensda
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19774393 Ahahahaha what a full blown tosser. I watched the game and I can honestly say, there were minimal stoppages in the 2nd half, even to warrant the 4 minutes. What he fails to note is that the game wasn't lost because of the additional 1/2 minutes, that weren't added to the end but rather the 37 minutes prior to that, after Kagawa's goal. What a bitter c*nt.

Dalziel Kane
That's Derby and Nottingham Forest isn't it. Think it all started back in the 1970s when Clough moved from the Baseball Ground to the City Ground, and won titles with both clubs, I don't believe there was any tangible trouble between clubs before that. People up there may think it's a lively event but I would say Cardiff/Swansea, Charlton/Crystal Palace or even Ipswich/Norwich would be a more lively affair. I hope Derby get a result maybe. c1982
I hope Derby get a result maybe. It's as if you've got the combined powers of Mystic Meg and David Blaine because Derby won 0-1... amazing!!!
Dalziel Kane
Well it was a 50/50 decision but I was pleased enough that County got a result, think I just prefer them over the two, and the Baseball Ground was a classic stadium if anybody had a visit before it was closed down and demolished in 1997 Tonight there will be Queens Park Rangers and West Ham in a west meets east all London fixture, I hope QPR get a success. Can't be impartial on this. I think it's about to commence any moment now.

EFC-Paul
I can't stand QPR most of their players and more so that cock at the helm, beside the redshite they are a team I'd really love to fail and fail badly!!
Dalziel Kane
Never really had an issue with Queens Park Rangers and don't know where the animosity comes from. Hughes was a very good player, but as a manager he's totally fucking inept. Merely joins a succession of former Manchester United players who tried their hand at management and failed dismally. Yes he wanted to stay involved after his retirement from playing, but some of these people need to be aware that management and playing are two totally different things, I don't think Hughes, as with a great many others, are too aware of this. Genuine disappointment at tonights result, but no surprise maybe with the relevant people in charge. Could be a long season.
pete0
8 - West Ham United are the first team in PL history to receive 8 yellow cards in a single game (excludes 2nd yellow red cards). Naughty.
Dalziel Kane
I would have thought maybe Wimbledon would have surpassed even that for a spell in the 1990s before they went under. They shouldn't even be in the EPL this season, did you see the Blackpool play off game in May, the Oranges were all over them for long spells, should have been 2 or 3-0 ahead by the time the opposition got ahead, didn't deserve to lose, were by far the better side, and just couldn't finish off a load of chances that day and the London club took advantage to win the game. It was a few days after the plastics "won" the European Cup too. It was a week to forget and no mistake. I do hope they can be relegated again next year. No ill feelings from Elland Road 1980 or subsequent defeats at crucial stages, just not a club I have a lot of time for, but we all have our preferences don't we. Only above, there was some berating of QPR... Fair Enough.
pete0
Knockaert for Leicester looks a very bright prospect. Wolves vs Leicester has been a great game entertainment wise and to be fair decent quality as well (shit defences!) Dalziel Kane
All he did was stick out a leg and direct it into the goal? could have gone anywhwere. Denis Law tried something similar in 1974 and relegated Manchester United I remember.

Dalziel Kane
I'm surprised they haven't won the European Cup again since 1997 the fine soccer they invariably play, and have been a very good side for the most part in recent years. I have nothing against City, and wouldn't favor either side tonight, so whoever got a result, I would feel totally indifferent. Most people would be unaware that MCFC even won a Euro trophy in their history, a bit like Leeds even, but they took the European Cup Winners Cup back in around 1970 I think, not 100 per cent on that, but they did win it long before we ever managed. pete0
Walcott has just put Arsenal ahead. It's been a pretty even game, I wouldn't be surprised if there is another goal. Edit: and it's gone Arsenal's way. Carzola with a sexy curler away from the keeper. Edited October 6, 2012 by pete0
pete0
Liverpool fans moaning about Stoke's style, because the lump it, foul, and hope for a lucky goal. Criticising Stoke is very short sighted of them, as I'm sure that was their tactics last year if you replace foul with cheat. Now it's poor mans tika-taka, cheat, and hope for a lucky goal. MikeO
Understatement of the year? "Luis Suarez doesn't help himself sometimes. He drives into the Stoke box with the ball and looks to cut back, drawing an attempted tackle from Marc Wilson. There is no contact at all but Suarez throws himself theatrically to the ground. Nobody in the ground is fooled by that." No yellow again though sadly .
