Avinalaff
Any chance of a 2012 colour update to something a bit brighter and cheery? It strikes me that the colour scheme is dull and depressing. Thanks.

Avinalaff
This is the forum as it is now, followed by some alternative colours just for the hell of it:
Bill
Avin, your flogging a dead horse mate, i've been arguing for years to brighten up the forum, but i always got fobbed off with some useless excuses, was voted against every time i brought it up in the staff room. StevO
All of them others hurt my eyes, they burn, they burn so bad! But seriously, soft colours are easier to look at for long periods of time.try it. Go colour a piece of paper in with a bright highlighter and another with a soft pastel colour and see which strains faster.
Bill
See what i mean Avin No chance. Tho i must admit they are a bit startling, but all the grey on here could be a soft pastel blue, which wouldn't hurt. Don't see how you can be "fobbed off with useless excuses" and "voted against" Bill . If you're outvoted you're outvoted, no need to find excuses for disagreeing . Agree with StevO still....like it the way it is.

EFC-Paul
Those are abit vivid on the eye Avin mate but I can your point, the trouble is as Steve said people like me who are at work glare for long periods and it would either do your eyes in or your nut. Hard to find a happy medium really but I like it as it is tbh.

I suppose not, cos it never actually came to a vote did it, there were some who put forward an excuse, and there were some who just didnt add any comment, and as always it came to nothing. I also like it as it is, but that doesn't mean it cant be improved.
Avinalaff
I didn't mean to start a fight guys. I just relate the forum colours to grey skies. Would it not be worth taking advantage of the 'Theme' facility? That way, those who want a brighter happier colour can, and those who want to keep the existing colour scheme can too. That's what it's for after all. At the moment Louis has it switched off. Maybe the colour scheme is why peeps are so depressed lol. We've been taking it out on Moyes all this time, and it's the damn shade of blue lol.

StevO
Oh no, you can change the theme if you like. Its at the bottom, not sure if you will like the other one though.

EFC-Paul
No not really but as it wasn't really a joke was it there are other forms of wit other then just jokes as said you seem to specialise in sarcasm to members on here, you really need to lighten up before you really isolate yourself from everyone on here. Anyhow I'm not going to entertain you Avin as I've had no qualms with you directly but don't like alot of what I've seen from you towards others and won't get dragged into a pathetic tit for tat. Have fun.....
Dalziel Kane
In all seriousness, there's nothing wrong with the colors on the pages here, this is a soccer forum place not a Da Vinci work of art or Rembrandt masterpiece. I remember years back on a rival site they had different designs for times of the year in all kinds of weird colors and designs, i.e. for Halloween it was a brown variation, XMAS was snowy white and so on, sometimes I've found that more can be less so let's keep TT to the way it is now, it's adequate enough without any fancy additions

Have fun..... Look Paul. You made a snidey remark. If you make a snidey remark, expect to get a reaction. I don't like what you wrote, and don't give a toss if you say you were joking. OK mate? I put a question to the site. I didn't run anybody over and drive off. If others like it, fine. If they didn't want comments and suggestions, I'm fairly sure they wouldn't have a Comments and Suggestions forum. I took the effort to offer some examples, because I'm helpful, and interested. Not because I'm a moaner, so do me a favour and quit with the insults.
EFC-Paul
Haha ok pal you need your head testing as you seem to have a real problem interacting with people and digesting what has been said. I'll leave it at that rather then pull you up and past quote and so on as I have no interest in talking to you tbf Av Edited January 4, 2012 by EFC-Paul
Bill
ooh err, steady on. Anyway, I still think it can still be improved by those who must be obeyed, if no more colour is desired at least try a navy blue outline separating each forum, or coloured text for the topics. The Theme option is available, but I can understand that Louis might want to promote his site in the colours he chooses. The theme we have now is a standard theme. On a small monitor, it probably looks fine. On a large monitor, it looks like a cloudy day. I prefer a little sunshine, but not everybody is the same lol. I'll know to keep my bright ideas to myself in future.
