SimonButtle
Quality player, would be amazed if he came too us even on loan, imo better than Arteta ever was.
Avinalaff
We seemed to be connected with every player on the planet lately. If he's not good enough for a small team like Real Madrid, he will have no chance of getting a game in the Everton line up.
StevO
I'd rather he phone his good mate Jose and ask to borrow a striker!
Avinalaff
I'd rather he phone his good mate Jose and ask to borrow a striker! Only if he gives us Ronaldo for 6 months as well. We have to start getting tougher in these matters. We're not a holiday home for Real Madrids stragglers.

pete0
Don't see the point in this one, we're well stocked in the middle and he is no better than and too similar to Rodwell, with Rodwell having the greater potential. If we do bring another centre mid (not including M********), I'd rather it be someone like Fernandes or Banega who will add something different to the team. Steve_E
Granero isn't like Rodwell at all. He's a much more creative player.
pete0
Granero isn't like Rodwell at all. He's a much more creative player. Granero has a better long ball, other than that I'd say Rodwell has him beat. Rodwell has the potential to be one of the greats of the next generation. I can't see Granero's name being in the same light.

Rodwell has the potential to be one of the greats of the next generation. I can't see Granero's name being in the same light. Perhaps Rodwell has more potential, though I doubt that too. (We'll see whether Rodwell ever gets to play 96 games for a side like Real Madrid.) I'm saying they aren't very comparable types of players. Granero is a typical Spanish player with great feel for the ball, great ball control, excellent passing ability (over all distances), body control and balance. And he's got a great shot on him too. scouse
That is if he can stay fit, when he gets a run he looks like the player we all hope he would be, then gets injured
Iamryanstover
Granero is currently a much better player than Jack, but Jack has that world class potential. I also think Granero is far more creative than anyone we have. All that being said I dont think we have room in our midfield, but if we qualify for Europe he would be a fine addition.
