GoodisonRoad
Didnt think he was a CB, signed him on Football manager and he plays right back and left back. It also has his height at 5ft 10 so i doubt he would make a decent CB. But i would definitely take him, just depends on the fee. Confirmed on Wiki that he is a RB (not a reliable source i know) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Matthews
Lowensda
MOre youngsters. It's good to see but poor for them!
The Regulator
Matthews was great at times for Cardiff. He is not a CB though, attacking full back, plays on the right side. So bit like Coleman in that respect. was sad to see him leave Cardiff, good young player, would be good to have him as Hibbert and Neville aren't getting any younger. He and Seamus at right back would be decent options in a couple of years, providing they reach their potential.

Played ok against Norway, Gunter will keep his place, Taylor to come back in so can't see how he will start for Wales, why did he leave Cardiff? Was it after Jones failed to get promotion? Was it after Jones failed to get promotion? yeah he's got some competition for the Wales starting line-up but he will get there eventually I think. I was debating this with my friends a few months back, it's pretty much the consensus that Cardiff had probably the best chance for promotion they've had in years last season, but it was clear that a number of players weren't happy under Jones, and to be fair Kevin McNaughton was our player of the season and he also plays RB. Matthews contract was running out anyway, and i just don't think Jones did anywhere near enough to convince him his future lay at Cardiff, especially since Jones knew he couldn't say the same. Bothroyd, Chopra, Burke, and a host of other left in the summer, leaving a rebuilding job for mackay, who's done pretty well so far. I think matthews was just in that group of players that thought Cardiff weren't going to be able to match their ambition, after all he agreed to join Celtic well before the end of the season. I really rated him year before last, needs to come back to play in the prem me thinks just to push him on another level.

Talking of Mustafi ............ But the Toffees swooped to prise him away from Bundesliga side Hamburg, with the player reportedly impressed by Moyes' willingness to give youth a chance. I'll bet he isn't too impressed lately, after one lousy outing against Borisov since he joined us. Weren't Palermo after him in the summer?
