townfan
St Helens Town (North West Counties League Premier Division) will play hosts to Everton in the Liverpool Senior Cup on Tuesday 15th November at Ashton Town FC (Edge Green Street, Ashton-in-Makerfield), kick off 7.45pm The Liverpool Senior Cup tie against Everton is the first meeting between the clubs in the competition since it was opened up to non-league teams almost 35 years ago and the first time the two have met since Everton were our illustrious visitors to Town’s former Hoghton Road ground in October 1988 when the ‘Toffees’ helped commemorate the ‘switching-on’ of the club’s new floodlights. Hopefully we will get a decent turnout especially as it's international week! Admission is £5.00 for adults and £3.00 concessions. A commemorative programme is being produced at £1.50. http://www.sthelenstownafc.com
