FanchesterCity
Just like the financial doomsday - it's a disaster waiting to happen. within 10 years, I am certain we'll have have a couple of very big clubs. Look at who's setting the future for our game. FIFA and UEFA - morons, with questionable ethics (putting it mildly) FA - Moron in blazers Premier League - an entirely commercial venture Foreign Owners - we are 'investments' or 'vehicles' Advertisers - sport is their vehicle to advertise AT us Media - more commercial ventures, where controversy sells Too many folks wanting a slice of the football revenue pie. And who is the source of ALL the revenue? every last penny of it? the fans. Yes, I hear you saying "no, what about sponsorship and advertisers".... well, those guys target the audience in order to sell more of their product. Who are they targeting? US! who are they expecting to buy their products? US And Sky - paying for the rights to broadcast the matches - yep, they need US to buy subscriptions and more advertisers to target US We are paying for the whole damn lot. Something wicked this way comes!
