Hafnia
I love him already! Outrageous improvisation. Talk regularly to a Crewe coach, he has scouted also for everton. He knew about this lad a couple of years ago and it was widely known he was a class act. I think a few had reservations on his size.
Romey 1878
That's brilliant! I hate it when players are let go because of their size. Being built like a shithouse doesn't mean you're a good player.

Romey 1878
was that a backheeled volley? It was, the audacity alone is brilliant, nevermind the fact that it went in.
Matt
It was, the audacity alone is brilliant, nevermind the fact that it went in. im sure in the Ballon d'Or that Messi won last year there was a backheeled volley too. Incredibly impressive, shame about the footage
Hafnia
Whether that was against Warrington or Man United it was about the execution - spot on. Would any other keeper have saved it? Not sure.
Louis
That backheel in the video was apparently disallowed for offside.
Hafnia
If someone crossed that ball to me 50 times with the sole intention of me making a backheeled volley and hitting the target I would be chuffed if I got 1.

Zoo
James Vaughan is the Premier League's youngest ever goal scorer after scoring aged 16 years and 270 days proving that you can play in the Premier League aged 16. This is the youngest I think you can play however I do remember a news article a while back saying that Derby County were playing a 15 year old.. maybe the rule is just if you have a proffessional contract (i.e - not an Academy one) then you can play it's just that usually aged 14-16 your not good enough for the pro leagues. Edit; Here is the lad; Mason Bennett. He has played for Derby County even though he was aged 15 at the time (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2051747/Mason-Bennett-15-year-old-misses-Derby-debut-school.html) Edited January 25, 2012 by Zoo

Blue4Ever
Moyes never gives youth a chance, please fellas that is beyond ridiculous wouldnt say ridiculous, he has consistantly played older players because of reputation and played younger ones when he's had to. we would never no who coleman is if he hadnt been forced into playing him when we had no one and injurys. no we think he's fell out with ross barkley because he hasnt been seen after one stupid crossfield pass.
