gzcon
Nervous as hell about this game. It all depends on how we approach this game. Go at it like we did last week against city and I don't hold much hope. Have a real go and we're in with a chance. Drenthe has to start, saha/vellios up front. MikeO
Mucha, Neville, Bily, Drenthe, Barkley, Stracq, Velios on the bench.
Bailey
Starting line-up doesnt inspire me with confidence, but it is certainly a 'solid' selection that most of us on here could have picked with our eyes closed. It all depends on how well Saha and Cahill work together. If they keep getting in each others way and dont link very well, we will be on the back foot throughout. Coleman will raid down the wings like normally, and it will be interesting to see if Osman has any impact on the game, as he is usually really fired up for the derby. The main worry for me, is that Suarez will run rings around our back 4, and while I think he is over rated, it wouldnt surprise me if he won a penalty, or twisted Distin inside out. MikeO
I'm much more optimistic than I was last week-end...we can do this. I can see a sub winning it for us.
Hafnia
Osman on the left, FFS moyes! They have a kid at right back, get drenthe at him and make the centre halves have to cover and allow space for Cahill and Saha.

lilpyrokid951
Rodwell off. Awful decision. Don't know how that was even worth a card. Suarez is a little fucking cunt
Cedrik
Wtf is this about? Rodwell didn't even touch him, the only thing he touches was the ball! Grrrrr! %$%&$%&$#$
MikeO
BBC... "I know we were expecting red cards today but this is a ridiculous decision by referee Martin Atkinson. Jack Rodwell dives into tackle Luis Suarez, and gets all of the ball. He catches Suarez afterwards, but that isn't even a foul in my book, let alone a straight red." lilpyrokid951
Commentary from ESPN: "High drama, and Rodwell is beside himself. That is a poor, poor decision from the referee. Rodwell slides in to challenge Suarez, wins the ball and catches the striker. To the disbelief of Goodison Park, Rodwell is dismissed. Martin Atkinson has dropped a clanger there. It was a full-blooded challenge, but in no way malicious and he won the ball. A terrible decision, the worst I have seen for a while." Cedrik
Shameless this. Pffff. Suarez of course crying on the ground like a baby, maybe he should go and play for Barcelona, this is the PL, grow up.
Hafnia
One of the worst decisions I've seen. Joke of a ref. Will one of their players be daft enough to let him level it up? Doubt it. Really angry right now.
cn174
Shocking decision. Took the ball clear as day!!
BoroBlue
Shocking decision, not even a foul let alone a red card. Rodwell had been superb up to that point IMO.
Guest blueboy122
That decision is nothing short of woeful. There is no way that was even a foul, that suarez should be ashmed and the referee needs to shoot himself. I AM SHAKING I AM THAT FUMING. FanchesterCity
Hear Hear... It's spoiled the game. WRONG decision. Looking back, not even worth a card, but I'd would have had no problem with the ref giving a yellow. It's no consolation now, but I think they can appeal against it later. FanchesterCity
I wouldn't bloody mind but I LIKE Liverpool - but Everton are playing out of their skin. I've love to see Everton get something from this. Based on the first half, it's no more than they deserve (to get something from it)
