Arkan
It says "PREMIER League giants Everton" on the article. I like the sound of that.
stegasaurus
Fuck yeah. In all honesty, this seems to be the way we have to go. Even if they dont "make it", we can make a profit on them. Cynical, yes, but its the way we have to go.

Marky_cule
In my opinion, we have one of the bests academies of england, the lasts years we have taken some players like osman, wayne, rodwell or barkley, but there are some players waiting to make the step up like vellios (little time but he showed good skills), magaye (better than bily), jose baxter, luke garbutt, shane duffy, mcaleny, forshaw, wallace, lundstram, etc.. Being realistic, only two of three of this will have a place in our team but after all, we have a promising academy and we need to give a lot of minutes. These bad times, the academy is the only that bring me hope. PD: the ross barkley play and vellios shoot at the last of the game was so great. Romey 1878
Neither Vellios or Gueye came through our academy.
StevO
or garbutt really, what was he? 16 when we bought him? i guess he had a year with the academy. i'll comment on the rest when they show signs of stepping up, give it two years until the next one. if we get these kids, good luck to them. marcopaulo
technically aren't most though? i mean what age do they have to start there so they can count on being brought through from our academy?
Louis
Probably about 8... but the likes of Shane Duffy was 15 before he had been spotted by a club.
