Peter H
Evan Davis - Next up in the dragons den, a passionate but clueless football club chairman will face the dragons to try and raise 50 000 000 pounds. In exchange for that, he is willing to part with 10% of the total shares. Bill staggers up the stairs, a light sweat showing on his forehead. Jamas Caan is stroking his beard. Peter Jones - So, what are you here to present? Bill Kenwright - im here to offer you 10% of one of the most successful football clubs in Englands history in exchange for 50 000 000 pounds. James Caan strokes his beard. Deborah meaden - and how have you come up with that evaluation? Bill starts to sweat even more. Bill Kenwright - eh, eh, come on, you know the score lass. Its what the club is worth. Deborah - and how have you come up with the evaluation? James Caan strokes his beard, Peter Jones looks down and smiles. Bill Kenwright - well, looking at the future, and considering we will get paid for tv-rights... Duncan Bannatyne interups... Duncan Bannatyne - this is absolute bonkers. Im out. Bill Kenwright - ok, hm, thank you for your time. Theo Papitis - you come in here and ask me to give you my childrens future, and you start talking about future tv- rights? Im more interested in knowing your clubs current financial situation. Bill Kenwright - erhm, well to be honest, so am I. James Caan strokes his beard. Peter Jones - how much did you make last year? Bill Kenwright - well we actually made a small loss of around 5 000 000 pounds Debrorah Meaden - what? A 5 000 000 pound loss? What about the year before? Bill Kenwright - well roughly the same actually. Theo Papitis - have you made any money over the past, lets say 7 years? Bill Kenwright - well son, no, its been like this for a while. James Caan strokes his beard. Theo Papitis - so what are you doing about it? Bill Kenwright - look son, im here aint I? Is this the solution? Thinking outside the box.
