Hafnia
They should have done it last year. Maybe they wanted to keep a close eye on him after his injury but I definitely think he missed some development. Would like him to go to somewhere like Leeds or wolves. Matt
It's on OS too, I think loan until christmas would be good, I'd like to see him play some part here this season. so it is, one thing that stood out: http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2012/08/18/moyes-ponders-barkley-loan "I'm thinking about getting him some Championship experience maybe in the coming month or two," said Moyes. "I can't do it right now until the squad is strong enough. So its far from confirmed it seems...
Hafnia
Looking at linesmans flag on twitter, who states he works at finch farm the talks with Adam Johnson are ongoing... I think moyes will let Barkley go when he has 3 in. Johnson, the trialist and duper kev would be nice.

Hafnia
Eye, bit of right sided action that doesn't involve vic or Leon. Apparently naysmith can play there too.
Bailey
Life Haf I think this should have been done at the end of last season. However he needa to get competitive games under his belt but surely a lower level Prem team would be interested (wigan, reading, soton, norwich etc)? Romey 1878
I'd prefer him to go to a team that actually plays football. No point him going to a side that will bypass the midfield.
Hafnia
That leaves Blackpool
StevO
Blackpool could be a good move for him. I'd get Duffy in there too.
Bailey
Brighton like to play their footy as well. Could seem him doing well down there if a Prem club wont give him a chance.
Shukes
Is it true that Barkley is going to Wednesday on loan? i think it was in the Daily Express. If so this could gain him some valuable experience. Good move.
chicagoblue
Rumoured to have been dependent on us getting Vadis, which appears to have fallen through.
Zoo
This is good news IMO, I don't think he's good enough for us yet but there is a spark there which can hopefully turn him into a good player. I can see this Wednesday move working out for all concerned. Ross Barkley has this morning joined Sheffield Wednesday on a one-month loan deal... Source: Official Everton Facebook page. FairWooney
great news. some first team experience is just what he needs. Playing at a decent level in the Championship with competetive fixtures will do him the world of good and I look forward to seeing how he gets on. I expect this will probably be rolled on for 2-3 months if he's getting games and doing ok (and we don't have a load of injuries).

Matt
1 month seems a little pointless doesnt it? I assume its a rolling contract?
Romey 1878
1 month seems a little pointless doesnt it? I assume its a rolling contract? I don't think so. It'll just be to see how he does and if it goes well I imagine it'd be increased to January, then if that goes well probably until the end of the season. Shukes
Anyone saw any feedback on how he played when coming on? I think i am going to become a temporary Wedsnday fan while he is there. Pretty excited for him to get some game time.
MikeO
Anyone saw any feedback on how he played when coming on? Had a scan of a Wednesday forum and it seems that the half he played the other day and the full ninety tonight were so dire as a team that it was impossible for anyone to look good. On the bright side he got through the game tonight without a card while there were eight yellow and two red shown .
FairWooney
Majorly contrasting views from the Owls fans! http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/179909-ross-barkley/
chicagoblue
From the lads that were able to string letters into words and sentences I take that he looked decent, but will obvious need time to work into a massively overhauled team.
