SimonButtle
just seemed daft to me that they'd send him on loan after payin that much for him! especially since Drogba took that tasty uppercut from Ruddy the other day

Hafnia
Not the type of striker we need for the same reasons I have concerns about Lukaku. Both score goals yeah - but in terms of working for the team, pressing from the front etc no. Not for me.
johnh
Agree with Haf, not our type of player. The only plus would be that we would get four or five more penalties per season. Matt
Sibdane
No, just on the basis of that stupid dance celebration he does. It makes me cringe. EFC-Paul

duncanmckenzieismagic
Agreed , he would be perfect for Arsenal but would love to see him upfront for us with Lukaku
Matt
Ideal player for Arsenal. he could keep Welbeck company in the physio room
Paddock
Not a fucking chance in hell this will happen anyway. It's a fruitless debate because firstly he wants to go back to London, second he wouldn't sign for us and lastly they wouldn't sell to us. dlblue
I think he'd be perfect for us tbh. His atitude and decision making is questionable but he scores goals. Its exactly what we need. Wont happen though.

Hafnia
According to some on here, we already have enough of that... yes we do have a striker who has a questionable workrate/attititude but scores goals - which Is why I have said no thanks. Sturridge is a better finisher IMO too he could keep Welbeck company in the physio room all injury prone players were injury free till they get "the one" that changes it all.... see McCarthy, Besic, Saha, I think he'd be perfect for us tbh. His atitude and decision making is questionable but he scores goals. Its exactly what we need. Wont happen though. Lukaku already fits the bill of questionable attitude and decision making with goals. According to some on here, we already have enough of that... yes we do... which is why I say "no"... which is also why he doesn't fit into klopps plans despite being the best goalscorer at Liverpool. Peter H
Daily mail is linking Sturridge with Everton, Crystal Palace, West Ham, Newcastle or Southampton. He needs game time if he is to increase his world cup chances. Id have him here!
Hafnia
In a heartbeat. Natural finisher. Questions about work rate but he's always on the move... clever player.

He hasn't all of a sudden become a less lazy player.

pete0
He's no more than a poacher. We already have one of them with 10x more work rate.
Aidan
Jesus people actually want him? I know we can't afford to be too picky but let's not get desperate.

EFC-Paul
Wouldn't want him anywhere near here, injury prone is putting it lightly suspect attitude and desire to play and he's an absolute bellend

rubecula
not Sturridge not Carroll so do you want us to just play a goalie and ten across the middle? Beggars can not be choosers and right about now we are on the streets with a cardboard guitar looking for food in bins.
