duncanmckenzieismagic
Surprised at the length of the deal I think it shows the club have faith in him. Just as well really because I have a feeling we are going to need him
markjazzbassist
Excited. I think he can offer something and hope to see a goal or 2 this campaign.

Quinn31
Roberto really must rate him, or there must be on minimal wages/able to be released at minimal cost to us... Hopefully he's another late bloomer. Think he should spend the first six months of the season on loan in the Championship or maybe League One. Bailey
I think it's great news. At the very least it means that we should be able to get a transfer fee in 12-18 months time if it doesn't work out.
Sibdane
I'm interested to see where this goes. The club seems to rate him highly, but we'll see.
Shukes
Really happy for him. He always looked like he had it in his locker for me. This season will be a make or break for him here, hoping it makes him.
BlueBlood81
Thank fuck for that, the squad is not further weakened. Does that count as a new signing because I'm starting to get fucking desperate!

Quinn31
I'm wondering if there's any news on him. He hasn't been loaned out nor has he come anywhere close to the first team it would seem.
markjazzbassist
we barely loaned out anyone this year. kennedy, a player to blackpool, and maybe a goalie? hoping to get the lads some FA cup and europa throw away matches i guess. Romey 1878
I know he's had a lot of injuries but I was most disappointed with him last night. Blinkered doesn't begin to cover him when he has the ball. Bailey

Hafnia
I thought he showed some good attributes and he was played out of position. I like his mobility - good speed, low centre of gravity and close control - he offers something different. We know the lad can finish - i've seen evidence myself. He needs a decent loan in January, he has needed Aug till now to recover from leg break. Lets get it right - there was only two players who let themselves down - Pienaar and Robles. Pienaar can get lost - didn't like his attitude, Robles just may not be good enough.
Bailey
I dont think anything McAlaney did wrong in that game were due to where he was being played on the pitch. If anything he had more time on the ball than he normally would do. He just looked to be trying to impress too much and made stupid decisions when he has some really good chances to make an impact on the game. Some said he just ran like a headless chicken. But to me, the fact he is willing to pick up the ball and run at defenders was enough for me. More game time will do him good. Quinn31
Good to hear this. I had kind of assumed that he would be leaving the club in the summer or ealier given his age and lack of time, but it sounds like he'll either see first team action or be loaned to a Championship club. Hafnia
This is the club's way of saying that we won't be bringing in a striker to replace Eto'o during the January window. From what I have seen of him he offers us something different, mobile and tricky, a little slight but he can finish. He would have been released if he wasn't good enough. He just needs the odd cameo to show us what he's got. Quinn31 and Matt

BoroBlue
Played well on his debut for Cardiff according to the forums. Played 80mins at the tip of a midfield diamond and looked lively. If he can stay injury free and find some good form at Cardiff he could become a useful addition to the squad next season.

I really don't think he's good enough and this is his chance to earn a move to a lower level club. I'll be happy to be proved wrong though!
