EFC-Paul
I'd be very happy to have him here quality player versatile strong and quick and can chip in with goals
Lowensda
Good player. Just can't afford to pay that for him. Thought this maybe a possible transfer of Ronny's, considering he wanted him at Soton.
Newty82
I'd like him. No idea about how proportionate the fee is...even I'd cost £15 mill at the moment!!!
markjazzbassist
I like him but not for 27 million. Wonder if he has a release clause for relegation. they're just saying that for a starting point. no way they'll be able to afford his wages while in the championship and keep him, just tryinig to get max money out of him. i'd expect 20m-22m for him. i'd be fine with that. Finn balor
Should have bought him last season. £20 mill and I'd have taken him markjazzbassist
Aidan
We've made an enquiry for him according to SSN. "Everton have highlighted Newcastle midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum as one of their key transfer targets before the start of the new season... it is understood Everton have made tentative inquiries to Wijnaldum's representatives regarding the player's situation at St James' Park... However, sources at Newcastle have told us they have not received any contact from Everton and nor are they expecting any." Not really the case, is it? Wouldn't usually expect sky to report pish, but to me, that sounds like they're desperate to report something about us. source: http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/10500390/everton-make-newcastles-georginio-wijnaldum-summer-transfer-target

markjazzbassist
WIjnaldum isn't an upgrade for efc. why? 10 goals 12 assists last year for newcastle, we could use that kinda help scoring. dlblue
c1982
why? 10 goals 12 assists last year for newcastle, we could use that kinda help scoring. Not afraid to shoot from distance and takes a good set piece too. Big yes from me. £25m is a lot but it's all equivalent... £25m this summer is £15m last summer with the increased wealth spread between the whole league. Newty82
They paid £14mill for him. Having a season like he did for a struggling relegated side....Well, these days that instantly puts you at 20mill plus!!!

dlblue
Liverpool really dont need another player in that position. hopefully we are holding out for Mata.
Makis
Wijnaldum is a decent player but hardly our first priority. So not really arsed. Matt
smeghead1
Doubt we were ever really interested like it's been reported Ashley wanted top dollar for him and basically conned them again a bit like getting 35 million for Carroll! Lowensda
He'll be a better player for them than many of their previous years' signings.
Hafnia
he will improve their squad without question - they will sell Joe Allen for a £8 million less than they buy him for...... that is good business.
