Maybe thats showing through in training more than on the pitch.
Hafnia
I think there is a bit of psychology going on with Bob, he praised Jelavic, praised Naismith and whilst Naismith had a better game, there is a need for his on the ball qulaity to vastly improve. I think he's just trying to share some confidence to the players who need it. He loves his polysyllable pluadits does our bob, phenomenal, incredible, fantastic (ok trisyllable) - for a person who is using his second language its a very clever method of motivating using words alone. Watch the way he emphasises them in interviews - clever man. A far cry from the baseball bat wielding days of Archie Knox...

Romey 1878
How many more times will Ossie be "finished" at Everton? No idea! I think he's finished as a regular starter but he's still a good squad player, and good to have in the dressing room. Totally agree In fact I think a fresh Osman coming off the bench could be a very useful weapon just like at Villa Matt, markjazzbassist and Bailey

Matt
My favourite player may as well hang up his boots. It's horrible that he's injured but sadly I think it's best for the team Lowensda
Hafnia
I think Ledson is already the ideal player to be his replacement. One touch passing, tempo setting player. Osman will always have respect off the fans - a one club player who has been around since he was kid. My mate was at Everton as a youth keeper around 1994. He said Osman was a couple of years younger but was an absolute quality striker back then. He's had a good career to be fair to the lad. If he was a better athlete he would have had many more england caps IMO.

Toffee_in_LA
Wow, injuries have seriously f***** us this year. Osman has pretty much been a consistent player over the years. Hard to criticize a man who bleeds blue and has always done his best when asked to play a position.

Romey 1878
Real shame if true. Great servant to the club. Yes, but I won't be displeased either. Martinez would keep him around the club so his influence would be the same.
Matt
My favourite player who scored my favourite Everton goal. The injury might be a blessing in disguise for him, before his bad performances tarnish a solid career. Thanks for the memories, Leon
Hafnia
I was right behind the goal for the Larissa peach. The bend on it was awesome. Didn't appreciate the quality lecture build up till I got home and seen it. Hope he gets ten minutes in a game to say goodbye. MC11
He is frustrating but underrated. We could definitely do with his neat foot work in the final third atm. Gutting if true. Looks like Pienaar could go the same way too. Another influential player that at his best we sorely miss. MikeO and Blue 250

Romey 1878
Good point, hopefully that'll be the case. The way Martinez has always spoken about him (and Hibbert) I couldn't see anything other than that happening.
